In the early hours after getting back a few hours after I began meditating Addie woke up and sat next to me eyeing the bag. Luckily Addie getting up woke Ellie so I don't have to guard the bag to prevent scaring the poor girl. After Ellie has also joined in to stare at the bag curiously I get their attention with a cloud of smoke and begin to write and Ellie instinctively read it aloud as she had grown used to when it was just the three of us. "I advise not touching that bag it's something for Anna. Addie I need you to write a letter for me." As Ellie was just a daughter of a beast tamer in a village full of tamers she was always treated well by the villagers but she never got any special schooling and was only about to go to school to pick up the taming class when the who camp was wiped out so she doesn't know how to write but she can read there were many signs around her village, I picked all this up from one of their meaningless conversations. Hearing my message Addie nodded then walked over and grabbed a pen and paper from her case. I guess she keeps them for writing music. As she has set up I reform my cloud letters and Ellie began to read out a simple explanation of what I found when I went hunting including the fact the old lady raised a corpse from death after hearing the story Addie's posture changed as she stopped for a moment but continued to write the letter before folding it up for me.
"That was creepy story why would you need that written down?" Ellie questions but I just laugh it off internally... Good she just thinks it's a story after folding the letter into the threads holding the leather bag tightly shut I write another message to Ellie and she nods along before I open up the window and begin to spread a ton of mist into the room holding it inside for now as I 'meditate' healing myself on the in breath and damaging myself on the out breath. Sadly after hitting a thousand this no longer gives me extra health but my mist body makes up for that so it's all good. A few minutes after the visibility in the room became terrible I threw the mist out of the room through the window as I form a large vortex in front of the manor and cover the whole town in a thin mist. Ellie seeing the room has cleared up stands up with her hood clouded by mist before walking towards the door and going outside Addie not in on it just shrugs and sits by the window watching the swirling vortex before I fly out it with the bag shortly after reaching the vortex I dropped off the bag leaving it at the heart of the vortex. Seeing the guards leading a confused Anna outside with her bodyguard close by I nod as Ellie runs up in a cloud path and darts into the vortex of mist runs up to me and picks me up hiding me away tightly in her shirt before walking out of the vortex on the other side walking up to Anna.
Seeing Ellie's mist covered figure walking out of the vortex Anna stops in her tracks as she was about to walk in. Ellie smiled behind the mist cover. She walks up to Anna proud by her confused stare as she got close while Nathon held back the guards who wanted to protect her ensuring that Anna was safe. Ellie whispered in Anna's ear. "The little guy thought it was inappropriate to give a gift in person so he wanted to keep to the cover of the 'cloud beast' and drop off a gift for you. Please inform the people that someone had done something bad. He wouldn't let me look in the gift but he says you'll probably like it." Stepping back Anna nodded with a confused expression as Ellie walked away and raised a hand towards the vortex as I made the mist in the whole fort get sucked up into her sleeve and flow into her shirt and into my mouth. Turning around Ellie nodded then I cast cloud path and we went back to the inn passing through the crowded streets of people worryingly panicking as the mist suddenly reappeared but their confused faces just stared up at the sky above the manor as it all disappeared in that direction. After getting back to the room Ellie pulled down her hood and jumped onto the bed in excitement. "THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" Addie just nodded along not apparently caring either way... I wonder if she even saw the whole thing from the window it doesn't point towards the manor at all... "I was so cool, can we do that again?" Hearing her childlike laughter I can't help but think of the grim package we just delivered... This feels... Why does she think it was all just a play? Hell we are in the country side we might wind up swarmed by zombies from that 'necromancer' in the woods. While I wasn't anywhere near the ground when I flew over I still leave a trail of green everywhere I go so if she looks up and has good enough eyes she can just follow it back. Since it would also be in the air around the house.
Well whatever if the necromancer tries to get revenge there are a bunch of guards and a few groups of adventurers in the fort she will likely not be attacking anytime soon. We'll be long gone by the time this fort turns into a land of the dead... Poor Anna is probably gonna die to her great-grandma's hands. Well not my problem. I can't kill most things in direct combat and only fight sneakily. Those undead are the hardest to kill sneakily as they take less damage from the weaknesses they have even if they have the weaknesses it's no different then attacking directly. Except they can't see me. However as a necromancer I'm sure she could figure me out and swarm my mist with undead directing them all to attack all my mist. So it's not a great match for me. Hopefully this kingdom has like a church who can handle this. Once Ellie has calmed down I wrote a message to her. "Well since our business is done here should we move on after the funeral?" Hearing Ellie read out my message Addie spoke up for the first time in awhile. "Yes I need to move towards the capital city of this empire. I can't ask you two to join me but I'd appreciate it." Realizing we would be leaving Ellie frowned but nodded soon after. "Ok Addie we will go with you." Ah... I don't have a say do I? Well whatever. I don't personally have issue with it. Why the capital though?
