Candy took a bus that morning to the office since Hanson went out of town. She came very early that day to prepare for the commercial shooting for her project. She had contacted the photographer to stand by at her office at nine o'clock, she also called the make up artist to stand by at her office at nine o'clock. Marvin came the the studio to helped her with the preparation. She was working with her computer when he came.
"How's the preparation Can ?"
Candy still typing at her laptop "All had been set up well, we're just waiting for the photographer and the make up artist at nine."
Marvin looked at his watch "But it's already nine o'clock now, where are they ?"
Candy called them all but couldn't get connect, their phone line were busy. She began to panic after 30 minutes there were no signs of they coming. But she never gave up, and she racked up her brain to think fast for the worse, she had to think about plan B.
Jolin came to the studio, when she saw Candy got panic she mocked her.
"Hey, I heard there will be a shooting today, what time will it start ? I want to use the studio as well !"
Candy replied her hurriedly wothout looking at her "Should be now Miss."
"But why I see no one here ?" she smirked at her.
"They'll be here soon !" she reassured her.
"Have you contacted them ?"
"Yes I have."
"So ?"
"We're still trying to contact them now, excuse me I need to do something." Candy interrupted her, she felt her existence there had disturbed her.
Jolin still trying to mocked her "Ouw you can't contact them till now ?"
Candy felt very annoyed now "Sorry Miss will you excuse us ? We still have a lot of things to do here."
Jolin was very happy her planned worked. She sneered leaving them, she saw Candy and Marvin got very worry and panic. Last week she heard her called the company regular photographer to make an appointment for today, she heard her called the make up artist also. Since they were the company regular co worker, she knew their numbers.
So she had some plot for them, she called the make up artist that the schedule had changed to the day after tomorrow, then she gave her tickets to enjoy holidays went out of town for two days, she told her to switched her phone off while she was away.
As for the photographer she told the driver to sabotage the car so they couldn't went into the office on time. Now she thought she had ruined Candy's work, she didn't know about what Candy capable of.
She walked away from the studio with big smile, she felt very satisfied "You won't get the make up artist come ! hahaha... You'll dead now !" she whispered to herself satisfied.
Candy finally could reach the photographer and she then told Marvin to picked them up at the place where their car got troubled. Marvin worked fast, he could brought them to the office in less than 30 minutes. Then the photographer and his crew worked fast setting up the place.
Luckily she told the actress to came at eleven o'clock so there were some time for her to think for plan B. When she was in university she had learnt some make up for herself and she did it to her friends also when they were performing art at the stage.
Now, she decided to do it again on her own, she had prepared to bring her make up tools with her just for the bad case, and it really needed this time. So when the actress came she made her up very carefully, it turned out her work was very nice. The model and the photographer were satisfied with her touch.
The actress admired her "Hmm... thank you, your make up style is very light and simple I like it ! It made me looked natural but great !"
Candy felt relieve with her praise "Thank you, now can we start to take some pictures ?"
"OK"
The photographer took some photos of her and they finished in three hours.
Candy felt exhausted but she was happy she had finished that day smoothly "OK thank you everyone for your cooperation, now let's take a break." Candy brought them take away food and she told to the actress to go with her after she changed her cloth, but she refused to go with her, since she had another appointment.
Jolin came to the studio that afternoon, she saw the photographer and his crew had finished working and seems like there were nothing serious happened. She asked to Marvin about his project with Candy, Marvin laughed proudly.
He praised Candy a lot "Wow, she was amazing, she worked very fast and efficiently ! Boss had very sharp eyes, he chose the right person !"
Jolin disappointed to hear that, "Oh Really ?" her eyes widened and began curious "How about the make up artist, I heard she didn't come today ?"
"Yes, we couldn't reach her. But luckily Candy can did it herself, she could make her up nicely just like professional make up artist ! You'll see her work soon !" Marvin was very proud of her.
Jolin's face turned to frowned, she really upset with what had happened "So she could get away again this time huh ? Looks like she's not an easy person, I should be well prepared next time, I want her vanish from here forever !" she whispered to herself.
Marvin and Candy had dinner together that day after they've wrapped up their work for that day.
"Hey Marv, don't you think someone wanted to sabotage our project this time ?"
Marvin furrowed his eyebrows "What do you mean ?"
"Do you remember last time I lost my design in one day ? Fortunately boss has the copy of them. Today, the photographer car suddenly broken at the same time we couldn't contact the make up artist. Don't you think it's not just an ordinary coincident ?"
Marvin thought for a while, he wanted to deny her at first, but when he thought again "Hmm, since you mention it I think it's weird too ! Who do you think want to try to harm us ? Or you maybe ... ?"
"I have someone in my mind but I have no evidence so I can't tell you." she made him got puzzle up.
Marvin kept on pressing her "It's OK just tell me, I'll help you handle it....Do you think Ms. Sun ?"
"Why do you think it's her ?" she asked.
"Well, It's just come to my mind since she asked me this afternoon about our project and I said to her you were our best savior ! Then her facial face appearance changed to be upset. Maybe you're right it's her who tried to screwed us up. I'll investigate this matter and get the evidence, don't worry. We have to be succeed this time." Marvin said to her with serious look.
Candy smiled at him and tried to calm him down "Thank you Marv, let's just finished our dinner now !"
Marvin very thankful to her and he tried to be nice to her "I'll drive you home since it's late."
Candy got nervous "No, you don't have to, I live near the office here, I can walk to my apartment." she didn't want Marvin knew that she lived at the same apartment with Hanson.
Marvin insisted "Then I'll accompany you to walk, it's not save to walk alone at night for ladies."
"Well, if you insist you can drop me at my friend's apartment then !"
"Is it Luna ?"
"Yes, it's the same building with your gym building." she replied.
"OK then, Are you living together with her ?" asked Marvin curiously.
Candy got nervous again "No...err ... yes sometimes I spent the night at her place."
They arrived at the apartment building, she thank him and waved good bye to him."
Marvin teased her "Can I stop by for a while ?"
"Oh, No you can't, maybe some other time, not now. It's late already now, you should go home too ! Be careful OK ? See you tomorrow !" she waved at him. She's very nervous.
Candy's heart was beating fast, she almost got caught up by Marvin, she then ran to her room. "OMG ! It was almost !"
She took a shower when her phone rang. She looked up her phone after finished her shower, it was her boss called, she called him back after that.
"Sir, did you called me ?"
"Yes, how's your work today ? I heard there were some troubles this morning ?" Hanson asked worriedly.
"Oh yeah, but we can handle them well. So the photo session had been finished smoothly today sir. Don't worry !"
"Good then. I'll be back two days from now. I want to see your work !"
"OK I'll be ready sir." she promised him.
Hanson a bit upset "Hmm you call me sir again !"
Candy smiled but she didn't responded him back, finally to ended the call she responded him "See you !"
Candy worked very hard those days, Marvin helped her also. She took her work home so she could go home earlier. That night, Hanson got home at eight o'clock, he left his luggage at his room, then he knocked on Candy's door, before he entered her place, he missed her a lot.
Candy saw him came and welcomed him "Boss, you've back ?"
"Yeah just now, how are you ?"
"I'm great, but I have some jobs here needs to be done in this short while. Have you had your dinner ?"
"Not yet"
"Ouw, I only have spicy chicken here, do you want to have some ?" she offered him.
"Hmm Ok. I want some !"
Candy surprised to see him not hesitated at all, she then served him dinner.
"So, how is your project ?" asked Hanson while munched the chicken.
Candy reassured him "Everything went on track so far."
"Can I see it ?"
Candy surprised with his urge "Now ?"
"Yeah, I'm sure you take your work home am I right ?" he guest.
Candy couldn't lie to him, she knew she had to obey his order "Wow, our CEO is workaholic also ! OK I'll show you after you finished your dinner."
Hanson went to Candy's desk after finishing his meal, Candy felt awkward since he was standing so close to her body and his face was so close to her ear beside her face, she then decided to move away from him.
"You may sit here sir, I go get another chair."
Hanson had seen her work for a while and gave her some opinions and suggestion.
Candy looked at the clock it's already ten o'clock "Sir, it's late, you should have some rest now. We can talk about it again tomorrow ! I think you are tired from your trip just now right ?"
Hanson looked at the clock "OK see you again tomorrow. Oh by the way I bought this from my trip, I thought you might like it."
Candy got excited "What is this ?"
Hanson took out a box from his coat and gave it to her "It's a scented candle."
Candy smiled brightly "Oh thank you so much sir, I like it a lot !" she got impressed by his attention to her.
"Hey I told you not to call me sir again if just the two of us here ! Can you call me again ? What should you call me ?" Hanson waited her respond few minutes.
Candy was very shy and she hesitated at first "Mmm.... thank you Han bro for the gift !"
Hanson very pleased hearing it "I want to hear it once again can you repeat it ?"
"It's late Han bro, see you tomorrow !" said Candy with red faced, she didn't dare to look at him.
Hanson was satisfied now, he left her with big smiled "OK nice to hear it, see you tomorrow !"
