After the talk with Leon, Cadmus faced the beasts waiting for him. While traveling to the Kingdom of Yelfir, he was ambushed by a group of beasts which were clearly sent by the Abyss to deal with him. Along the way, he had been encountering these beasts every step of the way. He had long suspected that a spy was sent to monitor Archellia and they noticed that he left so now they are relentless in following him.
Not far from where he was fighting the beast, Veles was watching. He had been following the guardian beast ever since he left Archellia and would occasionally send beasts to annoy him or to delay his journey to the Kingdom of Yelfir. He had received news from the kingdom that the guardian beast of Archellia was going there for a visit.
