Yule the leader of the dragons welcomed Llewel and led him to his home. He was offered food and drinks, they were very welcoming of him even though he emits a dark aura. It was not a secret to the dragon race what had happened after they left the Prism. Yule had already foreseen it but they chose not to interfere because they had made a vow not to intervene with the humans anymore.
The Chroniclers who could also foresee the future decided to interfere and thus they were wiped out. Besides what happens to the humans have nothing to do with them.
