After her visit and the discovery she made, Amedee could not quite get herself together. She was torn whether she should just outright accuse the elders without evidence or wait to meet Llewel and ask for his opinion. She was not able to sleep and focus all morning because of what she had learned when the news of Dreigh's guard dying reached her.
Amedee rushed to where the guard was being held and saw with her eyes that the guard was indeed dead. He has his eyes closed peacefully and his body was relaxed at that moment she knew that the words of the guard held truth and that he already knew that Dreigh was gone. He had already freed himself and had no reason to remain living because the reason why he was alive is now gone.
She did not have any opinion instead she stepped forward and got a white cloth and covered the body. The warriors who were there to watch the guard were looking at each other, they were confused as to why their head was not talking.
