The slaughter continued. With the lack of forces, Zarek and his men were able to take advantage of the talisman they were using and destroyed most of them. They were able to the upper hand which made enemies falter and slowly lose their morale. The only fighting force that had been really giving them trouble were the remnants with the warriors whose abilities were amplified by the talismans they were holding.
"What are we going to do with those remnants?" one of the men fighting asked Zarek after they failed to subdue one of the remnants who was currently attacking them.
"Let's use everything we can to at least stop them from moving further," was his only answer because he also doesn't have a clue on how they would deal with those remnants who were going berserk at the moment.
