Beast has been waiting for Snake to come. The moment he stepped inside he saw their leader with a serious look on his face. He calmly sat down and waited for a few moments before he spoke. They had talked with each other just the other day but Beast was eager to know if there is a progress.
"Are there any news?" he asked reigning in the eagerness he felt.
"I met one of them on the streets a while ago but the negotiation fell through," Snake shook his head in disappointment.
Beast can't help but frown and clench his fists, "have you asked what they want in order for them to join us?"
"I didn't have the chance. I already revealed that we have information about the mastermind of the incident but the man still refused my offer. They're difficult to talk to," he explained in a solemn voice. He did what he could but Apollo did not give him anymore chance to talk. "He even disappeared in front of me before I could even talk."
