A silent night, a seemingly peaceful night passed by with everyone being clueless of a tragedy that had taken place in a desolate area of that dreadful forest. The blood had dried on the ground staining it deep red and the bodies had long gone turned cold through the earliest hour of the morning.
The patrol assigned to round the Verzalys territory went to their designated area only to see the gruesome aftermath of the massacre. They trembled in anger at the sight of their comrade's lifeless bodies sprawled on the ground. It was only the first group and when they followed the trail of blood, their worlds had collapse. Their young master, whom they have cherished and protected, was lying on the ground with a pool of yet to dry blood under him.
