The next morning, the messenger rode early. His horse swiftly ran along the plains separating the border base camp to the capital city. With rest intervals on the road and fitful sleep during the night he reached the Capital City Arx after three days of continuous riding. The entrance to the Arx was heavily guarded with a whole squad stationed on the gate. Their task is to mainly expect the people who want to enter the capital city and even though Archellia was cut off from the rest of the Prism Continent, the city was still buzzing with a lot of activities.
He alighted from his horse and showed a letter of authority and identity to the stationed guards. One of them took the letter and read through it, after that his bag was inspected and after all the checking, he was allowed to enter.
