Rielen noticed something was off amongst their parents at dinner. Luckily Sylph was rambling about his latest grand adventure in the Palace so it wasn't too awkward. Eon had a tense look on his face and seemed to be avoiding conversation with his parents. She wondered what could have possibly happened in the short time they had been apart.
"Is everything all right?" She asked once they were alone together in their room. "It's fine. My mother is just being overbearing as usual." Eon said, trying to soothe her. It was times like this that Rielen knew not to pry. Eon had always been uncomfortable talking about his mother. It was a habit he had kept through his childhood.
