Rielen's hands shook as she received the report from the messenger. A second message had also arrived with Eon's seal. She quickly grabbed the message and tore it open. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she read the note. 'He is safe.'
Rielen was worried about the retreat from the northern fort. They were definitely at a disadvantage. The crystal at the northern fort was the biggest defense crystal aside from the Capital. If not even it could defend against the enemies attack, Rielen would have to find a solution and fast.
The defense crystals were not easy to make. They were made using mana and a lot of it. The mage core was working tirelessly to create more, but they simply lacked the mana and manpower to mass produce them currently. Rielen wished she had more time to properly outfit the fort.
