A wail came from the floating figure as the wind spell caused small scratches on its face. A dark substance leaked out of the wounds. The magic circle that had been forming faded as soon as the figure got distracted.
Rielen zeroed on the break in its concentration and began casting another spell. Small dark orbs were launched at her. She watched as they hit an invisible wall a few feet from her face.
Eon's barrier was working well. With the wind spell she had used to distract the figure still active, Rielen formed another large fireball in her hand.
An anti-fire barrier was immediately erected around the floating undead mage. Rielen smiled. She compressed the fireball in her hand until it was finally a small ball.
The thought for this spell came to her after watching Eon struggle to create a formidable barrier. The act of suppression seemed to strengthen spells.
