"The next trial seems to be scheduled a few weeks from now." Roy announced to the two who were warming up in the training room. Eon had agreed to continue sparring with Rielen so she could keep her physical abilities sharp. Eon threw a towel at Rielen while wiping the sweat from his face. Catching it in mid air, she copied Eon.
"Why is it announced so early?" Rielen asked. They had only been given a few days' notice the last time. "Announcements depend on which gods are running the trial." Roy answered. "So it depends on their whims." Eon muttered. Roy pretended he didn't hear that.
Eon poured himself a cup of water from the pitcher that was always prepared for them. "What kind of trial is it this time? Another combat one?" Eon asked. He took a long drink before handing the cup to Rielen. She accepted the cup with a smile.
