Eon entered the room given to them by the healer at the desk. "We are at the hospital now, baby. We will get you some good rest." Eon whispered into her ear. Rielen stirred in his arms. "Eon it hurts." She muttered under her breath. Eon's attention was immediately on her. 'Wasn't this just mana depletion?' He thought worriedly.
Rielen coughed and blood began to drip out of her mouth. He laid her on the bed and immediately called for the healer out front. The thought of her in pain and bleeding somewhere inside flooded his mind.
Rielen coughed again and blood splattered onto the white sheets. "Baby, what's wrong? Where does it hurt?" Eon begged her. 'This can't be happening. Not now. Not after I got you back' Eon's mind was thrumming with anxious thoughts.
