The battle became a fierce parry of blows between Eon and the god. Rielen had to focus hard to see their movement. Eon was taking more and more defensive stances. With each passing moment he would take a step back. 'Ugh, I need to find an advantage.' He thought frustratedly.
Rielen knew that she had to do something to help. 'If only I had spent more time on my physical abilities.' She thought to herself. There was no point thinking of what could have been. 'I must take control of the area around me. I must play to my strengths.' She knew this would put her at risk, but she had to hope that Eon could protect her.
She ran to the cover of the trees. 'Surely it should be safer here.' She thought. Kneeling, she clutched the dagger in between her hands and thrust it into the ground. She had never forced the connection like this, but she couldn't allow Eon to lose. A strange feeling came over her as the usual connection she felt stirred in an almost uncomfortable way.
