"Is this a new magic?" Eon asked her. "I think so." Rielen said, her hand to her chest. "Why were we not able to open them before?" A knock came to the door. "That must mean the food is ready. Let's eat before looking further into this." Eon said.
He pulled her up and they exited the ring. Rielen reached down and pulled the mana back out of the ring so it would power down. She wasn't sure if leaving it activated while they were away was such a good idea. The smell of a meat dish wafted down the hallway. 'I am so hungry.' Her mouth began to water.
A familiar gurgle filled the room and they both laughed. Eon picked her up in a princess carry and hurried down the hallway. "You don't have to carry me!" Rielen protested. "I am just following the order your stomach gave out." Eon laughed. Her stomach seemed to fill with warm fluffy feelings.
