"Welcome newbies!" An announcer said over the slightly crowded space. Today was the day for the interview. Roy had stressed to them that it wasn't a big deal, but Rielen was nervous. She couldn't explain the way she felt. It was as if she was expecting something. She was more nervous than she had been in her entire life.
Something within her was feeding her nervous energy. Eon noticed her nervous energy since they woke up this morning. He tried soothing her in various ways to no avail. "Baby, we could just stay home if that will make you feel better." Eon whispered to her. The thought of just leaving this place and spending a quiet afternoon in bed sounded like a much better way to spend their time.
