Out of the door, Ashley kept knocking on the door so loudly that the neighbors shouted at her to ask her to stop.
"I want to see my daughter. You should shut up."
"It is night. We are all sleeping. If you dare to make that noise, I would call the police."
"Oh. Okay. But I can tell you. My daughter is a famous editor. She could handle everything. Unlike you, you can only call the police. You might need to stay in such an awful place for a whole life."
"Estates. Where are our estates?"
"..."
As their quarrel got heater outside, even Jason was staying with her, and Scarlet still felt so fearful.
"Let me handle this," Jason was worried about her. He didn't want her to be upset.
Scarlet immediately wiped her tears and shook her head, "No. You don't know her. Let me handle this."
"Could you?" Jason asked her in a worried voice.
She nodded, "Don't worry. I am strong. Don't you remember? No one could beat me down."
