Wilson nodded, though fear weighed heavily upon every part of him. "Things have gone so badly wrong." If he could say, even as a sour joke, that they were both on the same side, "There was something else going on," he tried to explain.
Edie stared at him in disbelief, wondering what the hell had happened to Marina. "Tell me! What do you mean?" She looked at him questionably, wondering if she had heard him right.
Wilson sighed, getting ready to explain. "Childe is to blame for the kidnapping of Marina, but he only wanted to scare Stuart. What he never expected was for someone else to take him from her. To this day, I don't think Childe knows who it was. He's never forgiven himself for it."
