Ivan was simply beside himself with gut-wrenching Fear and anxiety, the likes of which he had not experienced before. It nearly drove him insane, and he knew Stuart would never forgive him for his carelessness. He knew what his mission was, but he failed. He failed in keeping Mrs. Yates safe. Ivan rubbed his chin, clenched his jaw, took out his phone and slowly dialed the number and said, "Mr. Yates...I..."
"Spit it out, Ivan," Stuart said in his usual cold tone.
Ivan's voice sounded strange and hollow. He swallowed and said, "Mrs. Yates has gone missing."
"What did you say!?" Stuart shouted, his voice roaring through the phone.
Ivan tried to explain quickly. "This morning, when we were on our way to see you, there was an accident. There was a little girl involved, and we brought her to the hospital. She needed surgery. After the operation, Mrs. Yates talked to the doctor, and I haven't seen her since. I checked the surveillance cameras, but some of them have been deleted."
