Edie had felt his stiffness instantaneously. She looked up and said, "Stuart, you are injured, right?" Being stared at by her stubborn eyes, Stuart was silent for a moment and answered, "Just a small injury."
Knowing that he was hurt, she became anxious and worried, "You didn't go to the hospital, did you? I can tell by the look in your face that you didn't go. Let me have a look at your injury."
Stuart's eyes glistened for a moment and whispered her words, "You want to check my injury?"
Edie didn't understand why he asked this question. Didn't she say it plainly? Then she remembered that his injury was in his back, so if she wanted to check and see if there was any damage done, he had to take off his shirt.
