She was snacking on something hastily prepared-- something potato-based, likely.
...probably something fried in the fat of a delicious animal.

The lizard army was delaying sending out their champion, reciprocating how they were treated.
And thus, to reinforce his professional nature and his title as the highest-ranked Officer in the Wyrmslayer Alliance... Tycon could only be patient.
And bored.
...and hungry.
If Tycon had known that their interests aligned, he would have suggested a temporary ceasefire on account of a nonsense reason.
