Ahead of them is a small single level cottage covered in vines, surrounding it is a small garden. Lillia and Zero begin to aproach when a woman about 40 exits the cottage.
Lillia bows quickly before informing her that only the boy was brought. The woman looked displeased for a moment before she looked at Zero and smiled. 'hello I am Vivian lillia's mother and Septimus's daughter.' this surprises Zero for he never mentioned Septimus. Vivian pipes up 'well you are currently in possession of his ring.' Vivian responded to something that was never said which further surprises him. Vivian gently grabs his arm and leads him inside. As soon as they enter. Zero becomes amazed because inside is much larger than it was outside and a lot nicer looking. Vivian leads Zero into the kitchen and sits him down at the table. She grabs various things before setting a plate down in front of Zero whilst saying 'you are hungry eat this.' Zero eats quickly realizing that he was indeed hungry. He ate with great vigor as it was delicious. When Zero finished eating Vivian lead him down the hall to a study where a man awaited him. Zero enters but Vivian does not instead she closed the door behind him and left.
The man silently gestures to the chair in front of him. Zero walks over to the chair and sits down. A few moments pass before the man speaks. 'My name is Boros, I am the reason that you are here.' Before Zero could say anything Boros spoke again. 'The reason you were chosen is because of your gift, the one that you haven't realized yet.' Silence ensued while Zero processed everything so far, before long he asked what his gift is to which Boros replied. 'Let's go outside and I'll show you.' Boros snaps his fingers and suddenly they are outside ten feet apart. Boros calls over. 'do what feels natural.' as he lobs a blue flamed fireball at Zero. Zero winces but the fireball never hits. He opens his eyes and what lies in front of him shocks him, a shield of metal thorns is sticking out of the ground and blocked the fireball. As Zero removes his arms from infront of him the metal thorns recede into the ground. Boros is covered in rope after rope of metal thorns puncturing his flesh. He chuckles which turns into laughing before he tells Zero. 'it's better than I was told dear boy.' Zero as quickly as he could removed the thorns from Boros, then they head back.
