[Proto Earth, Unranked Dungeon]
As everyone in the city who watched the broadcast were shocked by the series of events, various people held their own comments regarding the fight, as they didn't expect this outcome at all. The person who dared to go against the boss on a 1 on 1 battle is literally holding his own and somewhat forcing the boss itself to make its move. It was simply unprecedented.
While the people were either cursing at Kaido or cheering for his feats, the government officials on the other hand wore confused expression as they never heard of such player before. From what they know about the esper class, the strongest player they knew who had such class is a pyrokinesis esper who would literally take it's all just to imitate a small sun through a ball of hot flames, and that is already a challenge for it. However Kaido destroyed what they knew about espers as he showcased his skills to them and even astounded them by creating a miniaturized black hole.
"Just who is this guy? do we have a record of such player? how come we never heard about him"
"He far stronger than the esper player who we acknowledged as the strongest esper among its class"
"Just how far is their strength and stats overall based on your observation"
"By a lot! this Kaido brat is on a whole new dimension of strength"
"Can someone tell me just what type of esper ability does this player have?!?! It cant be pyrokinesis nor telekinesis for the esper class, he can create a freaking black hole! a black hole!"
"Based on what we can observe sir! this player Kaido that was recently registered in the system, is an esper that has matter manipulation, meaning he can control, create and destroy matter at will and based on what we all know... everything we see are made up of matter and that is the reason why he can use all the elements of nature and even create a black hole"
"Matter manipulation? This is a first time i heard of that, with this ability, he could literally recreate reality as he see fit... this is a dangerous power for a single person to wield"
"But this type of power is what we need to overcome this problem from the unranked dungeon"
"...After the raid is over, contact this Kaido brat... we need to put a leash on him as soon as possible before he goes rogue"
"Understood"
While the outside world of the dungeon was going crazy from this series of events, the players that are outside the domain of the boss, couldn't help but approach Alessandro's group and surround them with questions on who is Kaido. After they disregarded his claim that he could go toe to toe with the boss monster Goetia, they expected that both of them would exchange attacks for a bit and result later on in a one sided beat down.
However reality proved itself otherwise and somehow they witnessed a brawl between the player and a boss monster. They already saw him once solo a treant boss, but that was neglible since that boss was a normal level one, but Goetia is on a whole new level than the treant. So with Kaido going toe to toe against such boss, then they can just imagine his level of power that was far beyond the overall level of all the players present.
They don't even know whether they should cheer for him or be jealous of his strength. After all people of such level are often scouted by government agencies and given position with a huge amount of luxury, a literally dream level of power. Such type of people are really hard to come by and even be contacted, so they were all curious why a no name group of players were able to recruit such a powerhouse.
But despite all their questions, Alessandro and Shelly couldn't help but turn to Lilia for help since, she herself is the only person who knew where Kaido came from. in fact they were even more surprised than the rest of the people, that Kaido could literally raid alone the boss of such level. But aside from that, they were relieved to see that Kaido can held his own against such monster.
Going back to the battle at hand, the smoke slowly cleared up, as Kaido took a few step back as he try to see through the dust and see the destruction that he had created. However aside from the destroyed background, Goetia itself was still alive, as it barely dodged its attack by tilting it head and only managed to incinerate the upper right part of its body.
As its black blood pours like a waterfall to the ground, Goetia then stood up straight as if unfazed and somewhat used its red energy to cover the wound that it has received.
Upon seeing that red mana covering the wound, Kaido's senses then begun to warn him that this fight was far from over, as he quickly moved following his instincts and hastily created a scythe formed by a wind, water and earth elements. After forming this scythe, it then rushed up towards Goetia in a lightning speed, as it blitz in front of such boss monster, before it swung its scythe which has the power to literally cut off the mountain in half.
However Goetia saw this coming, as it blinked away from its previous location, completely avoiding the dangerous attack from Kaido, before it appeared way above the air above him and begun to concentrate mana on it's left arm. Opening up all the eyes on its left arm, Goetia then shot out a rain of red laser to the ground, which literally bombarded the surface, and force Kaido to fend for itself using blocks and parry.
But at its 10th parry, his scythe was destroyed by the rain of laser, which quickly alarmed him and hastily collected his thought to form a dome above him. But this earthen dome was destroyed right after, as the lasers pierced through its thick blockage and rained upon Kaido. Due to that Kaido was forced to rely on his psychic barrier to fend for himself, and endure the feeling of pain striking all over his body.
After for what seems like 1 minutes of heavy rain attacks from Goetia, a sudden spike of energy could be felt on the ground, as a laser like attack rose from the surface ground and was aimed towards Goetia.
It that moment, Goetia cancelled his attack, as he instantly regenerated its destroyed body part, before using its two arms and all of its eyes on both of its arms, in order to form into a red mana barrier. The moment the laser hit, the attack itself literally cracked Goetia's barrier, as small bits of its energy slips thro0ugh its defenses and scratches the surface skin of its body and damaging some of its eyes on its arms.
Alarmed by the fact that some of its eyes in its arms are damaged, Goetia then opened up the rest of the eyes on its body as it strengthened the barrier in order to contend against the attacking laser. Soon after when the laser ended, blood trickled down on its arms, as the majority of its eyes on its arms were damaged, from just that simple attack alone. However there was no time to rest at all, as Kaido was not finished in dealing with Goetia at all.
In immediate notice, Goetia felt Kaido's presence behind it, as it quickly turn around in order to attack Kaido with its own form of power. But hallway its turn when Goetia was about to face Kaido behind him, a punch was then implanted on its face, as Kaido used its strength to forcefully shot down Goetia off the sky and back to the ground itself.
As Goetia crashed down to the surface ground, Kaido raised his arms up into the air as lightning gathered into his palm and formed into a mass of lightning energy taking shape of a spear. manually controlling the gigantic lightning spear in the air, Kaido then launched it forward as a huge lump of energy descended from the sky as if a god had issued a divine punishment towards the boss of the unranked dungeon
Faced with such overwhelming attack, Goetia quickly got up after crashing unto the ground, as all of its eyes on its body opened up, and red energy begun to gather at the very center of the huge eye on its chest. Gathering this much energy, it then further on absorbed the mana in the air and converting it into its own mana, before launching a devastating laser towards the lightning spear that was descending from the sky.
Under the few short instances, the two attacks collided in the air, as both energies begun contending in force against each other, before leading into a huge explosion which ripped apart the black cloudy sky itself and revealing the deep blue clear sky.
"What the!!!!"
For a moment Kaido couldn't believe that Goetia was able to defend himself from the situation and even managed to clear the sky which was giving Kaido some environmental advantage in the air. Now that the sky was clear and all clouds was dispersed from the shockwave of the attack, it will take time for him to gather another set of thunderous clouds, which could aid him in this battle.
But while Kaido was shocked by the sudden change of environment, Goetia begun assaulting him once more with a hundred of homing lasers being launched towards him in hopes that he would get shot down from the sky. Since he got distracted for even a few seconds, Kaido was shot back from the first shot of the laser, before he got overwhelmed and shot down by multitude of following attacks.
While Kaido was falling from the sky, Goetia sent another volley of laser attacks towards him, which blasted off Kaido mid air and forcefully made him crash down to the ground much faster due to the propelling force of the attacks. Luckily for him he had his psychic barrier up this whole time, which protected him form receiving any type of damage in his body and kept himself at top shape.
However despite not actually receiving any damage from the attacks, Kaido still felt the impact of the attacks which caused his muscles itself to feel sore all over every time an attack managed to hit his psychic barrier.
Quickly getting up in order to launch his own ranged attack to the enemy, Kaido suddenly stopped on its tracks as he suddenly sensed Goetia's presence beside him, and saw the monster itself throwing in a mana enhanced punch which struck him square on the face and launching him back for quite a mile
"Guh! It became faster"
As he was launched away, Kaido stretches out his hand in mid air as he used his psychic energy to pull in Goetia alongside him, before launching itself towards the magnetized boss monster. Enhancing his muscles with lightning which enhances his muscles to achieve super human strength, Kaido then straight out launched a straight punch towards Goetia, which was quickly countered with a mana energized punch from the latter itself.
As both fist collided, Kaido quickly shifted the energy coursing through his veins unto his other hand, as he then begun exchanging blows after blows with Goetia in close quarter while falling in mid air.
But after the tenth exchange, Goetia suddenly choked Kaido by the neck , as it planted it down beneath it, and used its whole weight to slam Kaido down to the ground itself.
But despite being downed like that and receiving straight jabs to the face after crashing down to the ground, Kaido then transferred the energy his is coursing all over his body to his legs, before Kicking Goetia straight on its guts, which forced the monster to let go of him and slid back for quite a few blocks.
When Goetia slid back for quite a distance away from him, Kaido then fully utilized the lightning energy through his whole body as he speed blitz right in front of it and begun rattling him with three punch combo, followed by an uppercut. Not allowing the boss monster to recover, Kaido quickly spun in the air as he launch a back kick toward Goetia which further lunched it backward through the force of the kick.
As Goetia stumbled on the ground, Kaido suddenly blinked above it, as he stomped unto Goetia's head and buried the boss monster head unto the ground itself. After that he then lightly jumped back, as he pulled unto its neck and overthrew Goetia above his shoulder and unto the stone tower behind him.
After that Kaido then manipulated the earth form where Goetia had crashed, in order to impaled Goetia unto the rock tower with earthen spikes, before he blinked in front of it and drill it with his own series of attack.
But the moment Kaido punch Goetia straight to the face, he then realized the sudden change as he felt like he hit something hard and not Goetia himself. Looking at the opponent in front of him, he then noticed dragon like scale had covered its face, as his whole back was replaced with hard dragon scales and his front a type of armor without even hindering the slits all over his body.
Goetia totally looked different in this form and if one has to put this in gaming terminology, then Goetia had entered its second phase and was ready top throw hands with Kaido.
"I believe that this is its second form?"
With its whole body changing that abruptly, Goetia broke out from the spikes restraining its body as it smashed its arms down towards Kaido and forced the latter to take an immediate retreat by a few steps. But the moment Kaido made his dodge, Goetia became relentless as it launched itself forward towards him, while swing its arms around in an attempt to catch Kaido himself.
However despite all that, Kaido was still able to dodge all of the attacks coming from Goetia, as he tanked one of its huge punch with his psychic barrier, before doing a three punch combo to its body which is immediately followed up by a quick spinning upward kick which blew back Goetia's head.
Unfortunately with Goetia's new body, such insignificant attacks could be disregarded as Goetia quickly pulled itself together, before grabbing ahold of Kaido with one arm and blasting him off with a powerful laser which blew him away. This time however the power of the laser was amp up to an even greater degree which caused Kaido's barrier to show signs of cracking by just tanking one of its attack.
Nevertheless the force of the attack literally dragged Kaido across the air, as he crashes into multiple stone towers, before he finally landed on the ground on its back and caused a massive crater to form on the surface ground.
"Guh! I literally felt that one"
Before Kaido could even get up on the ground, Goetia immediate blinked in the space above him, as its stretches out its hand and begun to charge up its attack with all the slits in its body opening up, which caused red mana to erupt uncontrollably. In just a few seconds charge, Goetia released a huge laser attack with a width 60 meters, which literally covered a huge area on the ground and can cause a catastrophic event to occur.
Upon seeing this attack, Kaido stacked layer upon layer of barrier in front of him, as his whole body received the full brunt of the attack and forced his body to further submerge unto the ground. Taking in the attack that was many times his size, Kaido witnessed his barriers breaking down one by one as the laser got closer to his body, which forced Kaido to fully focus in defending himself.
However Kaido himself had fully underestimated the strength of the attack, as he miscalculated the durability of his barrier, causing him to shout out in desperation in in trying to withstand the attack coming from Goetia himself. However his struggle was proved futile as his last barrier broke, and a huge explosion occurred right after which shook the ground of the whole dungeon and causing massive shockwaves to be emitted even to the outside world.
Everyone saw what happened in the fight, everyone saw Kaido struggling to keep the barrier in place, and everyone saw Kaido being engulf by the attack which was followed by a violent explosion. Such an outcome was truly shocking as no one expected to witness such sight. 'Kaido has lost' that's the majority of everyone's thoughts as everyone went silent while observing the boss which looked like a demonic God floating in the sky.
Even their best bet lost to such monster. The players in the dungeon, the people in the city, and even the media in the internet was silenced in this revelation. Aside from people who gave out nasty comments about Kaido's incompetence and arrogance which brought him down, the rest of the peo0le in the city was silenced as they can't even utter a single word against the result of the battle.
The battle itself was on a level that they can't even fathom. The boss monster was like yhe final boss of every hard tower dungeon, it was almost impossible to defeat. That was until Kaido came and showed that even players could reach such level. However now their only hope of clearing the dungeon was hone and got killed by the boss monster.
But there was one thing the people near the entrance of the unranked dungeon had noticed. It was common occurrence that people who are killed in the dungeon would be ejected back outside of the dungeon itself, but in this case despite seeing Kaido getting engulfed by that attack, they never saw him get ejected out of the dungeon, which can only mean two things. One is that his soul got erased by the attack and second is that he was still alive inside the dungeon.
Back inside the dungeon, when Goetia was about to return to its post, it then sensed Kaido's presence within the smoke, as all the obstruction was cleared and showcased Kaido all roughed up with injury all over his body.
Soon after by manipulating the matter in its body, Kaido's body then soon regenerate itself back to 100% and showcasing as if he never got hurt from the attack. This kind of show feat itself shocked everyone much more to the boss monster. After all no one expected that Kaido was capable to quick regeneration.
