The destruction of one section in the main base building was too eye catching for everyone to ignore, for a fact even Ingrid's attention herself was caught up in this as she was shocked to see that particular section was completely ran down as if a heavy missile rammed into it
But such a thing wasn't enough to fully occupy her thoughts as she quickly pulled herself up together and charged out towards Nana
Thankfully Melfina who somehow had regained her breathing had managed to occupy her for the current time
As for her injuries that she sustained some time ago, she just barely held it in as she wrapped her wounds with a piece of clothing around it
As for the forest of blades that Nana hadmade during her abilities rampage, such things were easy to bypass using Melfina's ability to travel through shadows, by using such a step process she would be able to easily get close to her without going through the hassle of destroying the blockage that she made
While Melfina is occupying Nana's attention for the current being, Ingrid and Rebecca who are at the opposite side of each other, then begun to move inward towards its center while dealing with the blades on their way
Using a forceful method of smashing their way through, they then managed to clear most part of their wayas they made their way towards Nana
While that happened Melfina on the other hand sprung out from the shadows as she struck down her own dagger
"Critical strike!"
In one slash Melfina then successfully hit Nana's psychic barrier as he easily destroyed it in one attack
Following that shetjen twisted her whole body to spin one round and deal anotherblow towards her
Unfortunately upon the destruction of her own psychic barrier, Nana then quickly took notice of her as she struck out multiple blades towards her
With a crisp sound of metal colliding against each other Nana was then able to repel Melfina's initial attack as she followed it up by transforming the tip of her elbow into a gun muzzle
With a bang at such a close range the bullet that got fired out of her muzzle succefully punctured Melfina's shoulder flesh as pain spreads out the latter's body
Gritting her teeth Melfina quickly summersaulted down to the ground as her eyes constricted into a dot upon seeing Nana making another followup move
Without wasting anytime Nana then transformed her left hand into a halberd as she swung them horizontally towards Melfina without hesitation
In a thrice Melfina quickly escaped her position by plunging down to the shadows and successfully avoiding Nana's attack, as for her previous location however the moment Nana swings her halberd, a huge gust of razor wind then blasted out of the area as it destroyed everything around it
If such attack landed upon her, then Melfina would have been in a precarious situation right about that moment, luckily she was able to rea t in time to escape her dire future
Later on after she dived down on her own shadow she then appeared once more on a top of a certain cargo, but the moment she resurfaced once more Nana on the other hand followed her instincts as she pointed her muzzle towards Melfina's direction and rained her down with a hail of bullets
Seeing that Melfina quickly made a dash to save her life and dodged the initial attack, but Nana was relentless as she kept firing at her location nonstop
With that it then left her with nochoice but to clenched her grip unto her dagger and try to block every bullet her way
In rapid succession Melfina swings her dagger in multiple direction as she tried to block the bullets, at one point whenever she had to take cover she would then plunged once more into the shadows before trying to reappear on Nana's blindspot
But as if her instincts were going haywire, Nana kept her alertness to the maximum as she always able to pin down Melfina's next location whenever she dived back to her shadows
Due to that Melfina was unable to get close to her no matter where she appears
In that moment Nana predicted Melfina's next appearance as she fired towards a certain direction in an empty space
Coincidentally Melfina exited at that certain spot as she suddenly felt danger all over her, but before she could check the trigger of her senses to warn her of danger, the bullet that Nana had shot then zoomed towards her and successfully punctured her near her heart
Not only were she shocked by that shot, she was even blown back by the force impact that sound out upon hitting her on a near fatal place
With that Melfina then fell at the back of that certain cargo as she crashed down to the hard ground
Seeing her shot had successfully hit her target Nana couldn't help but smile upon seeing Melfina shocked expression
But just as she was admiring her work Ingrid on the other hand had managed to bypass her forest of blades as her sword emitted bright blue energy which is seemingly her own violent mana
With a slash Ingrid then destroyed a couple of blades surrounding Nana as she repeated her attacks by atleast 4 times, causing numerous broken leices of blades to fly off
Seeing her appearance Nana's smile suddenly disappeared as it was replaced with snarl before swinging down her halberd
But the moment she poured her attention towards Ingrid, Rebecca then quickly took this opportunity to appear behind her as she thrusted out her sword (frost sakura)
In one thrust the psychic barrier that Nana had repaired just a moment ago was once again destroyed in battle
Due to that Nana then realized Rebecca's presence as she then neglected Ingrid's presence infront of her and planned to counter Rebecca behind her
But the moment she did Ingrid once more attacked her with a swing of her sword, due to that Nana's focus was immediately split into to two causing both Rebecca and Ingrid to successfully injure her on both sides
With a scream Nana then felt the pain all over her body as her blood spilled out on her surroundings
Gritting her teeth she then bellowed out a few words
"Third time... thisnis the third time you lot managed to injure me... I'll make you pay.... I'll make you pay!!!"
As if she have gone crazy once more numerous blades then stretched out towards Ingrid and Rebecca causing them to take a few steps back
Slashing her sword with all her might Ingrid then destroyed the pack of blades right infront of her, following that she then started casting in her enchantment spells unto her sword
"Fire sword enchantment!!!"
"Water sword enchantment!!!"
"Wind sword enchantment!!!"
"Light sword enchantment!!!"
"Earth sword enchantment!!!"
"Dark sword enchantment!!!"
"Omni sword enchantment!!!"
After casting upon that chain of enchantments unto her sword she then swung it out towards Nana while bellowing out a loud roar
Following that her thick violent mana smashed against the numerous blades infront of her as they streak it out towards Nana in a devastating way
With the force of that slash everything that was sent out by the esper herself, was instantly destroyed on the process causing Nana to be utterly shocked by the magnitude of that attack
When the wave of energy was about to hit her straight to the face, it suddenly evaporated into nothingness as Ingrid charged forth towards her while thrusting out her sword
Seeing that Nana closed her gaping mouth as she struck out her halberd on one hand
With that Ingrid simply maneuvered her sword to clash against the halbered before she spun around and knock Nana's chin using the hilt of her sword
In that instant Rebecca took this opening as she continously slashed her way through her before dealing a massive strike towards her repaired pyschic barrier
Upon collision her barrier once more broke apart causing Nana to break out of her trance and swung her halberd behind her
Noticing her movement Rebecca quickly raises up her sword (frost sakura) vertically as it collided against Nana's halberd
Along with that collision Rebecca stood firmly unto the ground as she putted all of her weight unto her hips, thus making her defense as hard as a wall
After blocking that strike Rebecca then slid her sword (frost sakura) along the blade of the halberd causing crisp sound as she sent out a quick slash towards her
At the same time Ingrid came in from behind Nana and slashed out her own strike towards her
With that slash blood splurged out everywhere as Nana lost her voice and fell down unto the ground
This time however both Rebecca and Ingrid managed to cut her across her back and chest, thus dealing a fatal blow against her
Adding to that with her losing too much of her own blood, Nana's consciousness then begun to turn fuzzy as she felt that she was dying at that moment
With that life then flashed past her eyes as her memories suddenly resurfaced infront of her
She even remembered promising her mom of celebrating her birthday today after her work in the main headquarters
But seeing that she was slowly losing her consciousness she then mustered up some words before tears poured down on her eyes
As if reaching out for something she then muttered
"Looks like... I won't make it tonight... mom... I'm sorry for heading on... before you..."
With her last words Nana then breath her last as her whole body turned limp
In that moment she was then confirmed to be dead causing both Rebecca and Melfina to breath out in relief
Following that after stabilizing their shaking hands, they then slowly headed on to where Melfina fell as they saw her completely bleeding out from the gun wound on her chest
Even blood could be seen trickling out of her mouth, thus upon seeing her like that both Rebecca and Ingrid lounged themselves towards her as they tried assisting her up
"Melfina! Your bleeding..." said Ingrid
"I know... but don't worry it didn't punctured my heart!" Replied Melfina
"But it did punctured your lungs..." retorted Rebecca as she covered her hand on top of her wound
After awhile Ingrid then thought of Lily back in the world of Loroa, with her magic she then could fully heal back Melfina to her perfect state
But upon realizing that she was not together with them when they returned to this world, she couldn't help but bit on her lips causing it to bleed
Right at that moment Belial came over as he said
"I can do something about this... but if I did that, then I advise the little elf to not engage on any sort of fight, since I'm just going to apply a first aid help with this and not total heal you"
Hearing him all three of them looked towards Belial as Rebecca asked
"Your here? Aren't you pre-occupied?"
"Pre-occupied? By what? By that weakling who is just inferior copy of a celestial race? Oh please stop with that kind of joke" said Belial as he felt humiliated from having heard of being occupied by a weakling
Hearing that Rebecca couldn't help as her eyes twitched a little upon hearing his words, but nevertheless she knew that Belial was strong enough in terms of strength an magic
If truth be told in all of them then Belial would have been only second to the calamity class beings in terms of strength and magic
But with that being second it was already enough to prove his strength
With that they didn't doubt him once more as Ingrid urged him to do something about Melfina's condition
At that the archdemon himself then stratches out his hand as he somehow temporarily closed her wounds while disintegrating the bullets that punctured her body
Due to that Melfina's life was somehow saved for a moment
