Grabbing unto the soul of Raguel with his hands coated with Calamity Mana, Kaido was then in turn seemed to be seen talking towards that particular soul
"What should I do to you?" Asked Kaido to himself
But little did he know was that the soul of Raguel was in fact able to talk, just like how it is when it first met Hibiki inside the cave
"You'll regret this... I've been fighting since the very the beginning, so of course I'm exhausted.. of course if only I was..."
But before it could finish it's words Kaido seemed to interject it
"If only what?"
"!!!"
"You think I would be stupid enough to go against you in a balanced manner? That is what I call a suicide, in fact you fighting in this war and charging bravely have really done a great favor of exhausting yourself so that I won't have to exhaust myself... Your a hero to the bone" said Kaido
"... What do you mean?"
"I said from the very beginning, you've been only dancing around the top of my palm, your a hero, and the prime Trump card of the humans against the Demon king... With all those status and fame that your so proud of... In the end you've become a predictable existence" explained Kaido

"Speechless? Figures after all, every people will be overwhelmed when they realize how insignificant they are... And that includes you" added Kaido
At that moment Raguel's soul was so speechless on what Kaido said as he felt like such words was an insult, if ever he had a body, he would be filming in rage right about now
With that said Raguel's soul begun to go wild as it tried to reach out it's soul like existence, at this moment all he could think off was kill Kaido who seemed to be looking down on him
Seeing the soul going crazy with the mockery, even Kaido himself seemed to o be enjoying such a show himself
"Hahahahaha! What this? Are you struggling? Are you boiling with rage? Too bad you don't have a body... You piece of shit!"
As if it hit the last straw of its nerves, Raguel's soul raged like crazy as it's ominous presence could actually affect the space around him like a poltergeist
"Nonononono! I'll kill you... If I ever get a body, I swear I'll kill you till even you dust can't be seen anymore... You'll pay for mocking me!"
Hearing all of that coming from an enraged soul, even Kaido seemed amused as he let his calamity Mana slowly grew bigger as his palm started to crush the soul
"You bastard! Your planning to kill me in my defenseless state!?!?! What an asshole!"
But instead of being provoked into answering, Kaido simply ignored it's words as he continued to tighten his grip
At that moment Raguel's soul began to scream in pain as his soul slowly got crushed
"You cowardly bastard! I'll never let this go! You hear me! I'll never let this go...."
In amidst of saying that towards Kaido, the latter simply lost his cool as he instantly crushed Raguel's soul, thus erasing his existence in the face of the Earth
With light breeze the soul of Raguel finally got crushed as Kaido completely killed him out of assurance that he won't return
Fatigued from fighting Raguel and giving almost his all to the point that he would almost go crazy, Kaido started walking wobbly away as he pulled on Hibiki behind him
"You unlucky bastard... Your still sleeping?"
As he complained about that his vision somehow slightly begin to blurry as he slowly fell unto the ground, but before that happened Aileene immediately came to him and supported him up
With the defeat of Raguel all human race lost all hope of winning this war, with the way the battle was fought all demons grew afraid of Kaido whenever they saw him
Except for the hybrids and some of its species, the Demon's who have intelligence would know not to mess with Kaido especially the woman beside him as she literally handled the wave of demons all by herself
"Whoops? Careful! You might trip" said Aileene in her late teenage form and at the same age look as Kaido
"Huh? Aileene? Is... That you?" Asked Kaido as this bus the first time that he saw Aileene in her late teenage form
"Well yeah! I grew slowly grew back into my real form whenever I release some of my limit... Neat right?" Asked Aileene as she smiled cheekily
"Yeah right!"
At this moment Kaido placed his arms around Aileene as he tried to stand firm, with a thought he then told her
"Alright! Bring me to the castle! It's time to finish this" said Kaido weakly
At this moment Aileene looked at Kaido's ruined clothes as she sighed and said
"You looked like a reck, but don't worry I'll fix you clothes later..."
"Whatever just bring me to the castle"
"Sure thing! Just let big sister handle it!"
With that Aileene supported Kaido towards the castle as they met Ingrid and the others along the way
Seeing Kaido's state everyone knew just how dangerous the fight was as both Kaido and Aileene approached Lily
When Lily realized that Kaido was slowly approaching them, she wip d her slight tears as she stood firm, but when she saw what Kaido hand in his other hand, he once again slightly begin to tear up, which included Luke when they saw Hibiki injured and was unconscious
"Kaido... Is he back?" Asked Lily as she hurried over towards Hibiki and tightly held his body with her hands shaking
"That... Bastard is back" replied Kaido
At this moment Lily finally hugged Hibiki tightly as she cried in tears of joy this time around after seeing Hibiki after all these time of losing him
At this moment as if the time went back to when both her and Hibiki were talking by lake in the empire and dreaming about the possible future
With a cracked voice Lily replied
"Thank you!"
At this time Luke came in and asked
"Raguel! That bastard! Where is he?" Asked Luke as he remembered how Raguel killed Mia and Alda
With that question Aileene answered him
"That fake hero is gone, rest assured human" said Aileene as both her and Kaido kept walking towards the castle
After hearing that Luke teared up while thanking him silently for avenging Mia and Alda even though that wasn't the reason Kaido killed Raguel
Seeing him heading towards the castle together with Aileene, the others who were still available followed them up
"Anyone who could fight! Follow me" said Ingrid as she held her emotions in but was till quite jealous of seeing Kaido having someone else support him rather than her
Together with Ingrid the one's who truly was on Kaido's side even if the world forsake them followed her

For some reason prince Johannes joined them inspite not having a good impression of Kaido from the very beginning
But in the end he had to give in since Kaido had his life on his hand, his survival was whether Kaido has a use for him or not
With 7 of them which I closed Ingrid, they then entered the castle after some time when Kaido and Aileene went inside

Inside this particular space which was distorted by some degree, both Asuto and the Demon king were having a fierce battle as it slowly comes to an end
Inspite of the Demon king's great strength and magic which was apparent for the level of this world, he was still no match against Asuto who sees to be dealing with him in ease
Crashing through the pavement of the Library, the Demon king then begin forming strange pattern as he activated it
"Demonic pandemonium!"
With the surging demonic energy heading towards Asuto, the latter on the other hand slightly mumbled something under his breath as he burned everything that got close to him by 10 centimeters
At that point he then phased through thousand of demonic energy and thus bypassing them with ease
Grabbing unto the Demon king's cloak, he then threw the Demon king unto the stone chair and pinned him down with his Mana
With the Demon king restrained he then sliced off his arms and legs to make sure he can't counter, causing his blood and screams of pain to vibrate the air
Laying on the ground, bloodied all over with his body full of injury, the Demon king then begin to laugh in his suffering
"Hahahaha! Is this the end for me?" He asked himself as he struggled to endure the pain
"I can't believe I won't be able to die in the hands of the hero nor the gods..." He said weakly
At this moment Asuto came close to him with his lifeless eyes and started to ask
"Tell me when?"
"???"
"When did you break free?" He asked
"Of your control? Take a guess!" Said the demon king while smiling wickedly
"If I have to guess, it would be a few months ago, the very same day the way you reaction towards me changed... And what more it was also the same day that you let your daughter escape by pretending to execute her right?" Asked Asuto
At that moment the Demon king went speechless as he realized just how much Asuto was observing his every movements
"Such a pity, Seralyn was it?" Asked Asuto
Hearing that name the Demon king's temperament begun to change
"Don't you dare touch her"
"Such a pity, she could have been an excellent puppet the moment you've lost your purpose"
With that Asuto came close and grabbed the demon king by the horn as the latter asked
"Just what is your purpose? I've been wondering awhile now you know... You've purposely instigated a war in peaceful times, causing heroes to appear in this world... No matter how I seek for the answer, I just couldn't guess what your purpose is?" Asked the Demon king weakly
After hearing him asked what he had done in preparation for all of this, Asuto then answered
"To lessen your numbers, weaken your armies, disrupt the powers of this world... Don't you think that having a war is perfect chance to do all this?... I'm just paving the way for his return... When all comes to it, no existence that have ever existed will be able to stop him... Is that enough?" Asked Asuto as he answered the Demon king's questions by giving a slight hint
"So in the end that is your purpose... To lessen our race numbers, such... Method is indeed effective"
"Indeed but now that you've lost your purpose, I've no use for you anymore" said Asuto
"He... Hehe... Then if you know that I broke free... Why didn't you killed me back then?" Asked by the Demon king as he lose strength
"Isn't it fun to watch you try to deceive me? It's like I'm looking at a naughty child who is pretending that he's a good child... It's amusing" replied Asuto
Hearing that the Demon king finally gave in as he said his last words
"I'm not worried... You know why? Because I'll leave it up all to my daughter!"
As if not interested on what he's about to say, Asuto simply pierced his heart as he made sure to disrupt his innards to prevent him to cast reanimation, thus completely killing the Demon king
But at the same time as he did that, the space distortion created by Asuto begun to break as they returned to reality wherein the library is a completely destroyed
At the same time as he pulled out his sword from the Demon king's body, a cry suddenly pierced his ears
"Father!"
Glancing around the destroyed wall, he then saw Seralyn who came inside the castle even before Kaido entered together with Aileene
Seeing her father the Demon king lying on the ground lifelessly, the fury inside of her despite everything that happened between her father and her raged on
Seeing the killer was Asuto who his father's once trusted (based on her perspective) being killed by him, she then grew even angrier as she held her blade
"You... You killed him!... I'll kill you!"
Charging towards Asuto, Seralyn immediately raised her sword as he struck it towards Asuto
With a crisp sound of blades colliding agaisnt each other, Asuto easily parried her attack as he sent her flying using his own Mana
"Your too weak! And your father really think you can manage the whole demonic race? What a joke" mocked Asuto as he sends Seralyn flying
At that moment when Seralyn was about to crash, a hand suddenly supported her as it gave her a push, thus preventing her crash
With that a voice sounded off
"Oi! Oi! Are you growing arrogant all of the sudden? And here I thought you were a dark Knight of the Demon army" said Kaido while being supported by Aileene
Facing on Asuto Kaido then smirked evilly after seeing Asuto's disdained face
"Hoh! You didn't expect to see me right? Tell me... How does it feels like your plan breaking apart?"
At that question Asuto simply replied nonchalantly as if seeing Kaido as an insignificant being
"I can't believe your alive"
Unknown to Asuto, just like him Kaido too thought the same, as the latter thought of the former as an insignificant bug
"Hahahaha! The feelings mutual... I can't believe that you survive fighting against the Demon king, you third rate"
