Seeing that reaction from him, Ingrid knew that somehow or some part of Kaido still remembered vaguely of his old past
With a grit, she soon took a hold of Kaido as tight as she can to completely restrain him
"You bitch!"
At that moment Ingrid started to chant a small spell that doesn't need that much incantation to activate, and used in against Kaido
When she did that a bright light suddenly engulfed the area as chains on white suddenly appeared between around them
"You... Just what the hell are you doing?!?!?" Raged Kaido as he started enveloping himself with black lightning
As lightning crashed down on them, pain struck Ingrid so much as well that even made her go numb, but the resolution in her eyes never once wavered as she held even tighter
Noticing that Kaido got even more agitated as he continued to electrify himself as he started to heat up unconditionally
"Kaido! Don't worry I'll return your memories, I'll make you remember us" shouted Ingrid as she showed her detonation and blood oozed from her lips
But instead of being struck by that sentence, Kaido seemed even more off as he started to smile evilly
"Ha... Haha... Hahahaha! You won't let go? You damn bitch won't let go? Your really overestimating yourself aren't you? You'll kept retrain me? Fine have it your way!"
At that moment spikes soon shot up from the ground and pierced through Ingrid's back, while a burning sensation suddenly burned her in her front like a fire heating up
Added this to the lightning electrifying Ingrid, the pain and suffering that she felt got even more intensified as she released a few small screams of pain

Hearing her shriek even Sarah struggled to get on her feet to come up and support Ingrid as much as she can
"Ingrid-sama!" She called out
But with pure determination Ingrid's spell finally have taken effect as it suddenly blown both Kaido and Ingrid away from each other
After that each end of the chain suddenly pierced through the chest at the same time causing them slight pain

When he came to, Kaido suddenly saw a chain on his chest that restrains his soul before it turned transparent and non-existent as if it wasn't there
"You... Just what did you do!!!"
On full anger Kaido charged towards Ingrid as the latter immediately stabbed herself with a small dagger in her stomach
At that moment Kaido felt stinging sensation on his stomach and when he looked down, he saw blood oozed out from it

As he begun to question what just happened, Ingrid however freely told him about the spell she used
"Soul Link"

"With this we are both connected, so whatever pain inflicted unto my body, you too would feel it... So meaning if I die, you will die too"
Hearing that Kaido started to rampage a bit once more
"You... Release this spell! Release this or else I'll break every damn bone in your body and burn you to ashes until none is left of your existence" roared Kaido
But Ingrid stood her ground

At that moment a feint memory seemed to pop up as Kaido remembered a woman saying the same lines that Ingrid just said
With this Kaido smiled as he glared at Ingrid
"Your one smart ass woman, I'll remember this, this isn't the end"
As everything was still as hectic as before Anna suddenly got an emergency signal coming from the hidden town that only she can recognize
Upon feeling this, a grim expression soon dimmed on her as she started to rapidly cast an immediate return spell with her staff
Soon magic circles appeared on every single member of the gang that joined up for this quest of finding Kaido
Seeing this Ingrid moved her gaze towards Anna who was casting the spell
"What's wrong?"
At that question Anna answered
"Everything's not going according to plan, we... The city is being under attacked by the holy city forces"
"What!"
Upon hearing the news even everyone that heard her became shocked by the news that their so called home was being under attacked when they were away
Soon anger filled their heart as they resolved themselves to take every enemy down when they return
"Ingrid!" Called out King Simon as he worry for his daughter's safety
But for some reason Queen Vivian pulled him back as she shook her head
"Let her go" she said
At that moment Ingrid said
"I'm fine father!"
"No your not fine! Your bleeding for goodness sake and now you want to enter a new battlefield? Are you crazy?" Roared King Simon in fury and worry of Ingrid's safety
But upon seeing that Ingrid reassured her father
"Father I'm fine, I'll survive... I won't die yet and I don't plan on dying... After all with the chain connecting me to Kaido, I'm sure that he'll try to protect me too since he can't afford to die" said Ingrid cheekily
Upon hearing that Kaido gritted his teeth in frustration, he really wanted to blow everything up from here, but he also wanted answers so he didn't instantly killed them all
Soon internal pain coursed through Ingrid's body causing her to spat out a mouthful of blood
At the same moment Kaido took knelt down as he spat out a mouthful of blood
After that a magic circle also appeared below Kaido's feet as it glowed
Just as he was about to ask, Ingrid instead answered him
"I'll be bringing you with me"
"You'll regret this" replied Kaido as he felt anger and hatred even more for this annoying woman
In a few moment the area soon begun to brighten up as it engulfed everyone that was above the magic circle
When the light died down Ingrid and her group was nowhere to be found, that too includes Kaido
In an instant Kaido's Aura suddenly disappeared from the battlefield causing every single Calamity Class Beings to turn their heads towards where Kaido vanished
But soon after they laughed for bit before returning back to the fight that they were involved with
For they knew that Kaido would return cause he wouldn't due that easily since only special people can kill Calamity Class Beings and such people are rare on its own
They also know about the spell Ingrid used caused of their good hearing when they used it to eavesdropped on them, they too knew that such spell wouldn't kill Kaido, but of course Kaido doesn't know that so that's why he's careful

Overpowering both Belial and Raguel, Argos seemed elated as he wanted to use every last bit of effort to take them down and vaporize them
Raising his hand Argos then started to smile wickedly as his black aura soon formed a huge orb above him
But just as he wants to fight more, the horn of retreat was issued by the Demon's causing every demon and its allies to fled back
Of course in swift movements Belial soon used a spell to distract both Raguel and Argos as he made an escape
Such events also happened in other parts of the battlefield as Hepta stopped her assault Against Aileene and fled at high speed
Of course the allied forces of different races such as Humans, Beastmen, and Elves didn't liked the situation thus some of them surrounded the Calamity Class Beings, whole some tried to catch up to the retreating demons to deliver a heavy blow on their morale
But just as they were in hot pursuit, Larval soon came out from the retreating army of the demons and waved his huge staff
In his command he soon chanted a spell
"Rising!"
Soon the dead bodies of all the casualties in war soon stood up and attacked the allied forces in great numbers
Upon seeing this some of the church members soon recognized such detestable magic
"Ugh! Necromancer magic? Such filthy creatures... Damn it kill them"
"Kill the dead once more so that their sould may rest in peace
"Crusaders! Moved forward!"
As shout erupted to fight such huge army of undead soldiers, Argos on the other hand sent a signal to Aileene to retreat from here
Upon receiving that telepathic order Aileene soon smiled showing her seductive canine teeth as she then gave her farewell to the soldiers and Adventurers surrounding her
"Well then... Till we meet again"
With a snap of her finger a bright light soon engulfed all three Calamity Class Beings as they disappeared completely from the scene thus making a tactical retreat and leaving the undead for the alliance by themselves

Far from the battlefield a different battle soon ended as Asuto took a sit by the rock as blood was scattered everywhere in his body
From his face, neck, stomach, and feet
As Soo as he sat down however he soon received a message from the Demon King through telepathy of course he too knew how to that so he often used such method to communicate with the Demon King in long distances
"Asuto! Are you done there?"
"Mostly... What's up?" Asked Asuto
"Asuto your tone and way of speaking" reminded by the Demon King
"Huh? Oh right sorry about that that your majesty, it's just that I'm so tired of all the moving that I barely remembered how to be formal and respectful" said Asuto with a tired face

"So what do you want me to do your majesty? I'm pretty sure that your going to make me do something since you contacted me" asks Asuto
"Right! I want you to aid Sirius to help him escape since he's being pursued by some Elves... He can't escape properly since he was badly beaten, I want you to assist him"
"He's badly beaten? Then doesn't that mean he's useless to you now?"
"No not exactly since I still have use for him, retrieve him... That's an order"
At that the line was cut off leaving Asuto to looked at his surroundings with a bloodied face
Of course the blood didn't came from him but instead such blood could be seen everywhere as it scattered all over the floor
Not far from him a pool of blood was laid out as Hecarius, Helios, Lola's cold corpses laid down
With him alone he killed three royal Knight's with ease and he killed them in a miserable way such as he tore Lola's limbs away, he stabbed Helios all over his body and crushed the insides of Hecarius

With a sigh he soon left the bloody scene

As Sirius was running away weakly he soon found out that he was being chased down by the Elves, as hatred can be seen from the latters eyes
It seemed that they still held a grudge against him for attacking their home, thus they persued him this far
"Don't let him escape!"
"Take him down!"
"Well not let you die that easily"
As they chased him down, some of them even draw an arrow and shot him in the leg thus made Sirius limp in running
"Kah! You damn Elves... I'll kill you..."
But just as he was about to turn around and fight, screams rose up behind him as a slashing sound came from behind
When he looked back he saw Asuto as he. Was surrounded by the corpses of the Elves
Upon seeing him an elated feeling suddenly swelled inside of him upon seeing an ally
"Asuto! You came" said Sirius
"Yes! And by the order of the Demon King at that, you should be lucky that he still has use for you even though the title of being the king was stolen from you" said Asuto blankly
"Is... Is that so? Then I'm grateful for my king... Are you here to retrieve me?" He asked
"Well yes, also I'm pretty sure that he'll give you power to defeat the current Queen of Vampire's if you ask though, that's just how the Demon King thinks" said Asuto as he came closer to retrieve Sirius
Upon hearing that Sirius then nodded in agreement
"Yes! It feels that it will happen that way"
With that said Asuto then placed his hand on Sirius shoulder as he started to chant a spell to use a teleportation magic towards the Demon king's army
"That's if you'll get to see him"
At that instant Asuto stabbed Sirius through the back of his chest and used his purple aura to slowly make Sirius crumble to ashes
Surprised by this betrayal Sirius suddenly roared in confusion and anger
"Asuto you... Are you... Going to betray us?... You... Why?..."
At that Asuto said
"I just found you useless thats all but your vessel isn't, let me take care of it for you"
Soon After purple veins spread throughout his body as Asuto said
"The Demon's doesn't have any use for dead weight's, I'll lead us to victory don't worry"
With that Asuto slowly whispered
"Corrupt!"
Soon bright purple light flashed as Sirius life was sucked out from his body thus turning it into a empty corpse with no soul
Asuto completely crushed Sirius soul as he remodeled his body for the purpose of using it
Afterwards three other cloaked people gathered up around him as Asuto issued an order to them
"Take care of this vessel"
With that they bowed before they left
When he was all alone he then soon murmured
"Now how will I make the Demon's win?"
