[Prison Cell]
Looking up haggardly prince Johannes of Ingra kingdom, the prince who sold his own kingdom to the demons, the prince who aimed for the thrown no matter what tactic he used, the prince who is crazily attracted to his own sister princess Ingrid, was the same person who smiled evilly back at the smirking Kaido who foiled his plans a long time ago
At the moment as usual he was surprised to see his own beautiful sister was still actually acting close to a person with no status and a criminal of the empire, as he saw that he couldn't help but shake his head side to side as he sigh ruefully
"And what do I owe this unexpected visit to such person who caught the eyes of the empire?" Said prince Johannes as he leaned back against the cold wall as he daringly looked at Kaido eye to eye
"I remember of not owing you anything, meaning I have no obligations to you whatsoever..." He added
At this moment Kaido couldn't help but be amused on how much upfront the prince was actually doing
"Oh please!... . . You were scared at your wits end when I slowly approached you that time... . . I remember I personally destroyed your plan to rise up, and do you know how I feel?" Ask kaido as he bent down to prince Johannes eye level and pulled his hair towards him
"....."
"It felt great!!! Your reaction, your despair, fear, confusion, it's like watching my favorite show except it's real... . . Ehehehehahaha!!! I just couldn't help myself from remembering your pathetic moment's" he added as he stared bloodshot to the prince's eye
"Your crazy!" Commented prince Johannes
"Thanks for the compliment!"
Seeing such exchange princess Ingrid who was at the side couldn't help but feel a little bit awkward, especially infront of his brother who actually aimed at her, luckily Kaido was here in case something happen and with it she can feel a little bit secure
That was supposed to be until Kaido somehow revert to his own old behavior, a behavior which blames the world for it's misery, since this is quite a new experience for her to witness such type of Kaido, she just quietly watched by the sides until suddenly prince Johannes looked at her
"I couldn't believe my sister actually fell for such unattractive man, with no status at that!!!" Shrugged prince Johannes
"Well at least I'm a better judge of character than you" she replied
"And your unbending will is what actually made me quite attracted to you"
As prince Johannes said this in return to princess Ingrid's reply, a slap was suddenly inflicted upon him as Kaido forcefully returned his attention back to him
"How dare you!!!"
"What hit a prince? What is the difference to hitting a trash?" Retorted Kaido
"You... . . You actually dare to compare a prince to a trash!!!"
This time the prince's eyes turned bloodshot as stared daggers at Kaido
"Well yeah! Aren't you? After all in this kingdom... . . You are a trash no matter wherever I look" replied Kaido
"Why you... . . " Reacted prince Johannes as he gritted his teeth
At this mention Kaido choked him with his left hand and lifted him up with only one hand, completely making him unable to refute and forcefully making him struggle to breath
"Listen here Bob! You should be grateful that I have some use for you, your going to be announced as "you have repented your ways and improved the kingdom", and your going to be announced as the heir to the throne... . .the king will arrange people to be your supporters and you will try to deceive the empire that since your the successor you have exiled princess Ingrid from the kingdom" he commanded
This time Kaido let go of his gripped causing the prince to fell down on his butt and started coughing
"What!!!... . . You want me to work for you?, Who are you to tell me what to do?"
As he started to retort, Kaido actually kicked him straight to his face causing him to bleed
"It's quite beneficial to the both of us actually... . . You can claim the Kingdom's throne, and get the empire off your back, while I'll have an excuse to bring princess Ingrid with me and shoulder the burden"
Hearing this prince Johannes suddenly realized something
"Benefits!?!?... . . On what grounds shouldering the burden any benefits at all?"
"Wait! Let me finish!... . ." He said as he shut him up
"In return of you becoming it's king, I'll have you fake your allegiance with the empire, and make you serve as a spy during the conference, I presume you can do this much? After all... . . Facing a dangerous man on the loose requires every kingdoms cooperation which means either way the empire will need a conference with you guys on the list of allies" explained Kaido
"....."
"The way you guys act are like an open book! So easy to read, that's why it will be easy for me to counter their every move... . . The only abnormality on their side, and a thorn to me is their hero who somehow suddenly gained tremendous power out of nowhere" he added
After he finished explaining prince Johannes deducted something
"So in short you want a puppet king? They know my every hobby especially how attracted I am with my own sister!!! Don't you think that they'll suspect me for exiling the woman I so desire?" He asked
"In that case just reply to them that on the day your supposed to leave your mark of love inside your sister, I swooped in and took her... . . After all I know that the empire knows that I'm close to princess Ingrid, so I'm taking the opportunity to secure every loose ends and make it hard for them to capture me" he replied
"Isn't that way inside your zone? After all both your hobby and my cautiousness is preserved with that answer" added Kaido as he shrugged and inserted his hands inside his pocket while looking down at him with his bloody red eyes that seems to glow in the dark
"And why would you think that I would accept your offer?" Asked prince Johannes
"Well it's better than dying right? Or do you want me to kill you?... . . Well I will kill you the exact moment you refuse"
Upon hearing such reply, prince Johannes clearly knew that Kaido wouldn't let any refusal be voiced out, and if he does refuse he will meet his end there, with this in mind he gritted his teeth as he accepted the terms
"Fine! You win! I accept your terms... . . " He answered
"Great! I expect big from you"
"... . . Your crazy for going against the empire" he commented
"And your a fool to think you can beat me by outsmarting me" retorted Kaido as he gave off a eerie smile
At that prince Johannes was set free from his imprisonment and now act as a puppet under Kaido's will, soon later on the story he will become the king of Ingra Kingdom as he stall and deceive the empire at the very cost of his life

When night falls Lily spends her time together with princess Ingrid as the latter comforted the former from her own loss during the trip, as for Luke he was actually invited by General Stone to a drink while dragging Kaido around
However on his absence he left many knights around the king and spent merry on the only night he could drink with a SSS-rank Adventurer and the person whom princess Ingrid has taken a liking too
Gulping the bottle in one go, General stone couldn't help but exhale in delight as he patted Kaido's shoulder
"Kid! I'm entrusting princess Ingrid to you alright! After all for me... . . She's like my own daughter, I have seen her grow up after all these years" stated General Stone
In reply to this Kaido shrugged the General's hand off him
"You better pull yourself or else your going to fall" he advised
"I'm just saying! After all I'm pretty sure your not that dense... . . I know your aware that she likes you"
"I know" replied Kaido
"Then i can entrust her to you... . . But why wouldn't you respond to her feelings?"
In this question Kaido calmly looked at his own carbonated drink before mixing up its chemical formula to make it more drinkable for his taste
"I have my own goal! I can't afford loose ends, and someday... . . I'll disappear without leaving a trace from this world" replied Kaido
Hearing that General stone became confused as he stares at Kaido before asking
"Kid... . . Your not planning to die after all of this right?" Ask General Stone
"Dying?... . . No I still have somethings to do... . . I have to return and finish what I have started in my home country" stated Kaido
"....."
"And plus... . . I couldn't suddenly accept any intimate feelings from a girl at this moment... . . Forgetting and moved on from you last love that has abandoned and betrayed you, isn't easy at all... . . The rage and guilt is encrypted inside of me, the very same thing that made the cycle of revenge neverending" answered Kaido as he felt frustrated for the moment
"Those damned scientist... . . I'll make them pay" he muttered
As Kaido mulled over some distant past Luke suddenly butted in as he said
"Well I'm grateful that we get to meet you again Kaido! Even thought we lost important friends along the process"
"And why do you want to follow this kid?" Asked General Stone as he took another sip of beer
"I need to protect Lily... . . Also I know that the current Hibiki isn't the Hibiki we know, and in order to avenge my fallen friends... . . I have to get stronger by experience and I can only experience that if I follow him" answered Luke who seemed not much far from General Stone's age at all
"Well good luck on your quest to power"
As he said that Luke started to look around and saw how merry and joyful the citizens are currently, quite contrast to the current empire which is grim due to the recent happenings
"I wish everyone could just live in peace, and die in peace" he commented
In reply to this General Stone also nodded in agreement, but Kaido suddenly broke the ice as he stated
"You guys can do that... . . As for me, I don't deserve a peaceful ending... . .with blood stained on my hands I would die a cold and harsh death where nobody would remember my past self and only remember of what I did to survive, such faith will be set upon me as I die alone... . . But if I have to die, then all I have to do is drag my enemies down with me as my final resort"
Hearing this both General Stone and Luke stared worriedly at the sober Kaido and felt that for some reason Kaido had set his destiny on dying alone in a cold place with no one to remember his good deeds and only remember his devious actions
For some reason Kaido knows that if he continues to trudge in this kind of path, someday he would die, but such future didn't stop him for exacting his revenge on the scientist and government that has done wrong to his kind

As the night drops and entered midnight, the cold air of winter is slowly disappearing as it slowly gets replaced by the warm wind of spring
Such new season was about to enter as the year will change
After the drink together with General Stone and Luke, Kaido returned to his room prepared by the king and slept for a few hours before regaining consciousness after a few rest
Since Kaido can change the taste of the beer he was not that quite sober unlike his two drink mates and thus made him the first one to recover
As he pulled out a water from the side and drank, he slowly sorted by the window and stared at the night sky while looking down at the kingdom from a high place
He can also see as the kingdom was still active at night and deducted that the open buildings must be the district in which lonely men would likely to go
For example are bar, brothel, casinos, and auctions for the rich
As he stared outside he felt a distortion in space opened up behind him in which didn't surprise him at all for he knows that only one person would do such thing to sneak up behind a dangerous person such as him
"So... . . What do you want this time... . . Goddess Serefina?" Asked Kaido
In reply Goddess Serefina smiled awkwardly as she said
"Hehehe! Well you unexpectedly found me out... . . But I'm not alone for this matter"
At her reply Kaido raises an eyebrow as he saw a figure coming out behind her
"Greetings! The man who Goddess Serefina is fond off and provide quite entertainment for her" greeted Aria the Goddess of love, the same goddess who summoned the Beastman hero
