Wielding the black flame in his hand, Belial directed his attack straight to Anna without any sign of hesitation at all
Seeing this herself Anna turned grim the moment she realized that the black flame was approaching her
For everyone black flame was a special flame that belong solely to the demon tribe, since it's has high heat intensity completely different from the fire used by humans and other species, it can be said that such flames could easily burn almost anything in this world
At that exact moment that the black flame encroaches to Anna, a light barrier suddenly sprung up between them and blocked the incoming attack
Because of that the flame spreads out to both sides because of its interruption

Not a moment later as the black flame continued it's assault, the light barrier begun to show signs of breaking as cracks slowly formed across the barrier
"Impossible! If one is not enough then I just have to add more!... Light barrier Ten-fold!!!" Casted lily
Seeing the grim situation Lily immediately added more layers of barrier to protect Anna from the Black flame

After she did the spell casting, the black flame became more aggressive as it one by one breaks the light barrier that it's blocking it, not long after as the black flame subsided only one fold barrier was left standing between it and Anna
Seeing this kind of result even Belial was left astounded by such performance
"Incredible!!! Are you a saint perhaps? Or a princess?" Asks Belial as he directed his attention at Lily
Noticing his gaze Lily became so frightened that she can't even stop shaking between her legs
Seeing the situation Mia immediately covered Lily as she draws her bow
"Don't even think about it!!!" She shouted
As Belial was about to approach them, Luke suddenly sneaked close to Belial as he swung his sword at him
"Heavy Strike!!!"
Sensing danger Belial immediately jumped to the side dodging Luke's attack leaving only a deep cutter crater from his original position
As he backed away he said
"Hah! Looks like you lost your shield" teased Belial
Because of Belial's attack, Luke's former shield broke apart just from one hit leaving him with only a sword available for his disposal
"Don't fret demon... I'm an SSS-rank Adventurer so I'm always prepared to have another shield with me" replied Luke as he took out a mithril shield from his storage pouch
"It doesn't change a thing" said Belial
"I know... But I won't give up" said Luke
Right after that Luke gave command once more
"Anna cover fire!!! Quick!!!"
In response to him Anna immediately did just that and fired another spell
"Wind Gale!!!"
With that a wind Gale suddenly assaulted Belial which made him contort for a bit and immediately dodged it to the side
As if seeing that Luke quickly approached him and sends out barrage of attacks
"Heavy Cleave!!!"
"Strike!!!"
"Smash!!!"
Of course Belial either dodge those attack or block them as he flew away
As Luke was sending waves after waves of attack while chasing Belial across the town, Anna however sends out her own barrage of attacks
"Fire ball!!!"
"Ice spikes!!!"
"Dark ball!!!"
Because of that series of explosions reverberated all around the town which caused the townspeople to either run and hide to a corner or take this chance for them to escape but fleeing out of the town
As they arrived at the town's square Luke was immediately thrown down to the ground by Belial, right after that he immediately arrived in front of Anna and sent a punch to her guts sending her crashing to a abandoned food stall
"Guhah!!!" Reacted Anna as she spat out mouthful of blood
Right after that Luke jumped infront of Belial and slashed his sword at it's shoulder
"DIE!!!" he roared
With that one attack caused waves of shockwaves that shook the ground and left a huge crater on it

As such situation was happening Lily successfully healed Melfina's wounds which made the latter regain her consciousness
"Melfina!!! I'm glad your okay" she said as she hugged Melfina
"That's enough we still have a demon to kill" reminded Melfina as she patted Lily's back
At the same time Jack regained his consciousness and limply walked towards the square
"Oi! Where do you think your going?" Shouted Mia
"Shut up! I'm just going where that damnable demon is" replied Jack
"Your crazy! Look at your injuries" complained Mia
"And what of it? This is a battle where our life is on the line... Every second counts" retorted Jack as he immediately dashed to the town's square
Unable to stop him Mia left it at that and assisted Alda who was groaning for some reason
Seeing the anxiety of Mia, Lily herself spoke up
"Go!"

"I can take care of this... Leave alda to me and help the others... Also bring Melfina with you, the more the better our chances of winning" said Lily with a look of determination
Seeing her friend like that Mia slightly nodded as she followed Melfina and run up to the town's square where the battle was unfolding
As they left Lily immediately treated Alda who somehow heard everything and urged Lily to hurry her healing

Back to the square Luke was getting pummeled as Belial slammed likes head along the pavement
Following that he throws Luke away and did an axe kick to smash him down unto the floor
"Gah!" Reacted Luke in pain
As that happened Anna finished another set of her spell and targeted Belial who was currently pinning Luke on the ground
"Water! Lightning! Electric Current!!!" Casted Anna as she sent another combination magic straight at Belial
Seeing this Belial took the attack head on which resulted to him smashing through countless of houses in a row
After receiving that attack as he slid, he immediately flapped his wings and flew to the sky, in the next moment Belial immediately dived down straight to Anna's location
As if seeing this Anna immediately countered it with another spell
"Switch!!!"
"Star blast!!!"
Using switch she exchange her position to Belial causing the latter to crash down hard to the ground and she followed it by raining him with an absurd amount of projectile magic
With that the location where Belial is rattled with countless explosions coming from Anna's magic
With no interval at all Anna immediately after doing that casted a wide range magic to bring another destructive magic to Belial, leaving no chance to retaliate
"Wide scale magic!!! Aqua Serpent!!!"
Right after that a huge water snake surged out from the magic circle that Anna Instantly formed and bared it's fangs at Belial who just came out from the rubbles
"Go!"
With a single command the water snake assaulted Belial dragging him across the square and smashing him to different structures
"Tsk!"
As if slightly irritated Belial smacked down the water snake and destroying it at that instant
"Wha..."
As Anna reacted from that Belial didn't even gave her any leeway and immediately slashed her back the moment he teleported behind her
As blood sprayed out from Anna's back, Belial took this chance and pulled Anna's hair and slammed her at the store nearby
"Gaaahhh!" Screamed Anna
Because of that Anna was left in deep pain as he arched her body to endure the injury she received
With a flick Belial throws a Black flame straight to the store where Anna is completely burning it with Anna inside
"Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!" Screamed Anna as she gets burned
"Anna!!!" Shouted Luke as he dashed behind Belial
Sensing him Belial dodged Luke's first attack and used his full force to smack Luke away using his right wing, sending Luke to crash to at least four houses before coming to a halt
As both Luke and Anna were down, Belial sighed in boredom as he expected more from both Luke and Anna
"Humans... They're aren't like they're ancestors used to be" he complained
As he said that, a huge amount of Mana flunctuation spreads out the town coming from Luke's crashing site that alerted Belial to some degree
"Hoh! Looks like he still have more cards in him
Just as he expected Luke activated his Trump card by going Berserk mode causing the tension to rise again
As he thought of that an arrow suddenly shot straight at him which he fervently caught it midair and look at the person who shot it
"Nice accuracy" he complimented
On the contrary instead of pleasantly receiving such compliment Mia couldn't help but twitch a little as she realized that Belial could react at such high speed
"This guy.... He's truly dangerous!!!" She said with a grim expression on her face
