[Passageway]
When Kaido suddenly woke up from his slumber, he was breathing so roughly that it even made others wonder if he saw a ghost in his dream
Due to his sudden reaction both Mia and Lily were a little bit surprised but after Kaido denied their thoughts they discarded anyway
Because they were able to take a rest for quite some time, they successfully regained their strength and prepared to head out again
It took them quite some time inside the passageway as it took them almost everywhere as time passes
Inspite of all of this they still managed to find the exit at the top of the pile of rubbles
When they got out the Ray of the sun shine on them that it made them squint their eyes because of its brightness
After some time they finally relaxed as they saw the lush green forest in front of them that indicated that they have successfully crawled out from the dark passageway
"We finally made it out! I really thought we would be stuck there" stated Mia as he breaths in the fresh air around her
"Hahahaha! I'm pretty sure that even if we didn't find any exit Kaido would surely make an exit forcefully" laughed aside Lily who clung to Mia for support
"Your right!" Agreed Mia
And with that both of them laughed while for the person in question himself walked to the nearby trees and observed his surroundings
After looking around he saw tracks on the ground
"Tracks?" He exclaimed
After deducting something he returned to where both Mia and Lily is
As he approached he said
"Looks like they're are tracks and by it's size I concluded that it belongs to a human" said Kaido
"Really? Then perhaps the others managed to get out earlier" deducted Mia
"If that is the case then we just have to regroup up with them" said Lily
"Your right!... Then shall we?" Suggested Mia
As they were talking about this the wall beside the exit crashed down as an enormous creature slid out from the crashed wall
"What the? That's impossible!" Exclaimed Mia
"That thing is really relentless" stated Lily with a grim expression
The creature that came out of the wall was none other the Stone Snake that they have encountered along the way
As it towers above them, it hissed at them in fury as it bares it's fangs while the other fang is damaged
With a hiss the stone Snake charged at them head on but in response to this Lily immediately casted a light barrier to protect the three of them from the attack
With one attack it caused a shockwave that shattered the barrier from just a single impact and blew away both Mia and Lily
"Kyaaa!!!" They screamed
Holding his ground Kaido immediately touched the ground as he made it restrain the Stone Snake from moving
As the earth covered the snake it hissed loudly causing the spikes to protuded out from his back
At that instant the stone snake sent a barrage of spikes straight at Kaido
"Crap!" Exclaimed Kaido as he defended himself from the attack
With a swing Kaido formed an earth wall completely blocking out the spikes that was sent at him
Seeing it's attack was blocked that stone Snake breaths out poisonous gas at the three of them, in response to this Kaido quickly shot out hit red flame causing a huge explosion the moment the gas and and fire made contact
Due to the shockwave Kaido was sent flying backwards crashing through the trees
"Kaido!" Shouted Lily when he saw Kaido was sent flying
Seeing Kaido got blown away, Mia immediately placed an arrow at her bow and aimed it at the Stone Snake
"Rain arrow!!!"
With that she sent a rain of arrows at the stone snake bombarding it completely
After that she sent another arrow at it but this time with different skill
"Pierce!"
But this time upon seeing the attack the Stone Snake maneuvered it's body to dodge the attack and sent a counter-attack at Mia
In a thought Mia quickly dodged that attack and stumble unto the ground
As for Lily she sent out her own kind of attack at the Stone Snake
"Ball of light!!!"
"Luminous chains!!!"
Using double casting multiple chains of light restrained the stone snake and numerous ball of light bombarded the Stone Snake
Immediately Mia did a follow up and attacked the Stone Snake
As for Kaido after recovering from getting blown away he quickly made his way at the Stone Snake only to see it being bombarded continuously by both Mia and Lily
After the bombardment the Stone Snake came out of the smoke seemingly not injured at all, showing just how sturdy it's armor is
"Impossible!!!" Exclaimed Lily
"Lily! Back down!" Shouted Mia as she distanced herself from the snake
Reacting to it Lily ran up to Mia
Seeing a young girl running away from it caused the Stone Snake to be arrogant as it charged at Lily, due to his slight arrogance it gave an opening at Kaido on landing his attack successfully
When the snake was about to charge at Lily, a violent tornado suddenly struck him horizontally causing it to crash into the walls
Following that Kaido crumbled the wall as it sent down the weight of the debris at it
With Kaido's assistance, both Lily and Mia successfully distanced themselves at the stone snake
From underneath the debris the Stone Snake sprung up as it sent out a barrage of stone spikes at the three of them non-stop
Very quickly Kaido puts up a wall between them using psychic barrier and this is further followed up by Lily's's light barrier
Still not giving up the Stone Snake continued sending out spikes at the three of them
Because of its continuous bombardment of spikes the psychic barrier that Kaido formed was bit by bit breaking apart
As they struggled to keep up the barrier a voice suddenly reverbrated out from behind them
"Quasi barrier!!!"
"Fortress!!!"
Seemingly both Luke and Anna assisted Kaido and formed another layer of barrier to further enhances their defences
After that two silhouettes rushed out from the trees and charged at the Stone Snake with incredible speed
"Crisscross!!!"
"Assassinate!!!"
With that both Melfina and Alda struck the Stone Snake with multiple attacks but soon they realized that the Stone Snake was so sturdy that it made both of them feel numbed just by its first attack
"Damn! This guy is tough!!!" Reacted Alda
"Kaido-sama! Are you alright?" Asks Melfina worriedly
"I'm fine!" Replied Kaido
After that Kaido formed a ball of flame from his hand and mixed it with electric current
As if seeing Kaido's intention Anna immediately enhanced his attack by multiple buffs, so when Kaido's attack landed it resulted to a huge explosion that shook the ground
With that attack the Stone Snake was sent crashing through the wall again
When it still moved the Stone Snake became frenzied that it attacked anything that is bear it
Since both Melfina and Alda was the ones that are closest to it, both of them received the atta k at full force and was sent crashing through the trees
"Alda! Melfina!" Shouted Luke
In an instant eyes glowed behind the smoke as the Stone Snake attacked directly
In response to this Luke quickly out himself between them and activated Guardians will, completely blocking the Stone Snake's attack
At that opening Anna casted multiple spells at high speed
"Ice arrow!!!"
"Fireball!!!"
"Lightning strike!!!"
"Dark ball!!!"
As she casted this both Mia and Lily followed it up
"Ball of light!!!"
"Rain arrows!!!"
While for Kaido he swings his arm up causing a wind blade to assault the Stone Snake
With all of this attacks it heavily bombarded the Stone Snake leaving no opening for it to retaliate at all
With all of those combined it cause another series of loud explosions to occur disturbing the whole quiet place around it
