Chapter 2 - Mother’s nature and Father’s time

I'm the one most warn you about,

I can always fill your mind with doubt.

No matter how funny a clown,

I will always be there

to knock them down.

All people have their loving times,

Until hell's bells begin to chime.

Though people see me as something great,

I'm always there for when

Fragile things break.

No one knows how much

Wrath I hold,

Until the pain of my words,

Make your blood run cold. As rivers nash and winds grow stronger

A malevolent yet strange force stays longer

Her eyes are filled with wrath and creation

With a heart flowing with devastation

Worshipped by all around the planet

Her reign is anything but tangent

Nature is her game and we are the pawns

Watching everything while we are the fawns

She's aware of the transgressions

Simply hiding behind her expressions

A voice as smooth as silk

Soothing every soul around

Her victory is mound

The mother of seasons

Has committed various treasons

Oh merciful beauty they say

We always have to pay

It's all just a ploy you see

She's a monstress being

With no sense of remorse

Her mind is strewn of course

The one thing I mainly regret,

Is the one thing I always seem to forget.

Many children show sweet smiles,

But only for short whiles.

Soon my brain begins to slow,

As the sun loses it's beautiful glow.

For when I look at their many faces,

My heart starts to skip paces.

The feeling of fear fills my head,

Making me wish I was dead.

But when they hold me close,

I remember my children,

Are the ones I love most.

The great women's anger,

Makes her feel like a stranger.

Everyone waits in fear,

Of what they will soon hear.

Her fists slam like thunder,

Causing many to plunder.

For everyone should be most afraid,

As she pulls you into her dark cage.

A tomb of which you shall be placed,

As darkness and despair control your fate.

No one sees how I suffer, Knowing we can no longer love one another.

I'm the father

That they tend not to bother

I love you's turned

Into I barely knew of you

It slowly burned

As my wheels slowly churned

What happened to my kids

My, Nature I forbid

She was the cause

Or so I thought

Maybe my mind is going to rot

It's likely time is slipping away

My memories fade by the day

One thing is for certain

They didn't pull my curtain

So adamant they are with me

Makes me wish I was the man

They needed me to be

Every time I see them

I noticed their tears and fears

Are at the brim

Maybe because I don't talk to them

I'm always so confused

Like a bomb that won't diffuse

Fell so many times

I'm amazed that my clock still ticks

Although it's from my restlessness

Hicks come up here and there

She says I'm disoriented

Which caused things to be fermented

Moods swing out of no where

I see why no one is there

Having a neverending battle

Causing my personalities to rattle

But really I am forever lost

Trying to pay for the cost

The lack of restraint

Has most certainly racked up

Never been able to fill the cup

Hopefully one day I'll be able to drink

Then maybe I'll be able to think

Oh, what would you know

You're just a hallucination

Adding more to my devastation

Winds howl and screech as the sky starts to spiral into a dark vortex, lightning and thunder send monstrous booms and cackles through the sky! In the center of all of this was a discombobulated Mother Nature, usually her outbursts weren't this bad but this one in particular was laced with many troubles. Oceans bashed and moaned, the animals acted rabid and carnal, the humans assumed it was the end of days and they decided to take shelter.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! [Mother Nature screamed in anguish]

Father Time sees this and rushes to his love as quickly as possible, my beloved wife what has caused this? He thinks back to the previous outbursts and recalls that they weren't this severe, in fact this one was completely different. He's known this woman for millennia and not once have they ever spiraled out of control like this. When did things start changing, is my mind finally fading or is she always like this deep down inside?[Flashback starts] "My my what a beautiful day it is my dear, why you have most certainly outdone yourself, and what may I ask is the occasion? " Father Time asks and glances at Mother Nature as if she's the most enchanting creature in the world. (Oh my, love you should know maybe your mind might be a little foggy but today marks our anniversary! It seems as if your mind keeps phasing in and out.) She giggles but knows the truth and she continues her precious little facade.

(My dear Time you are so precious to me, you know that right? So loyal, so adamant and passionate with your love for me; however you are also very forgettable, frantic and restlessness. While you are a most suitable lover you are also quite a strange being; although I like that about you, In fact it's absolutely divine.) Time gives her a quizzical look after hearing her response and he thought long but not too hard about his choice of words. "Dear Ms. Nature, you are single handily the most beautiful, cunning, and most eloquent being I've ever set my lavender eyes on! Indeed my flaws are a tad bit tedious, BUT my lovely counterpart you are no saint. Instead you seem to be a devious, deceptive and manipulative she devil; nonetheless it merely adds to your vixen like attributes and I quite like that about you. We seem to have an interesting relationship that continues to flourish through the means of , how should I say this complete and utter pain!" He says through gritted teeth. (Oh Time please do lighten up we always go through our playful banter, you wouldn't want to suffer another punishment do you? Nature gives a wolffish grin!) "My dear I'm well aware of what you'd do but that doesn't mean I won't stand up to you! We've played this game for far to long because of it I've suffered from to many migraines, memory loss, and severe scarring . At one point I remember you promising me that you'd never hurt me or do anything to bring me into harms way, but everyday you seem to change back and forth from my loving elemental queen to the abusive monstress that keeps me in an endless loop of suffering. I love you enough to stay and try to mend it but when your outbursts happen all I can do is try to hold you or let you take your emotions out on me."

[Flashback ends] "Oh Nature what happened to us, was love ever truly there, or was it just for your sick and depraved game, " as Time came out of his flashback he was struck by a powerful bolt of lightning in the center of his head. For the first time ever time itself slowed down as he was falling and all his memories turned into fragments, blood trickled down his mouth and his lavender eyes went blank. His body hit the ground with a loud thud and shortly after Nature came down from her state of chaos, giving her lover a solemn look. Then as her alabaster orbs looked upon her fallen lover she decided to let a single tear fall. Slowly kneeling down and gently touching where he was struck, while calling to him softly. (Please wake up, come back to me and I swear I'll never pull another trick like this again. I will love you how a wife should, give you my all, make sure that everything can be pure and stable. Maybe allow you to forgive me for all the harm I've caused you! LOOK AT ME, MUMBLE,BLINK, DO SOMETHING PLEASE....I KNOW IM IMPOSSIBLE MOST OF THE TIME BUT PLEASE JUST COME BACK TO ME! I NEED YOU....MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!!!)

[Time skip]

Time please it's been months since the incident please comeback to me, I know you are undergoing a healing process, but I can't stand to see you in this coma like state! I'll just continue to wait like how you did for me when I'd have my outbursts or my shut downs, but you'd always know what to do. All I can do is just sit here and stay by your side. [Roughly three hours later Time slowly stirred and woke back up] "My lovely Nature! He stated weakly." (Yes my beloved husband, how do you feel?) "Well my dear that's just it I feel absolutely horrible, please do pray tell what happened because as of now I'm not quite sure on anything." Not even what occurred previously, so if you'd make this old clock tick again it would be riveting! Mother was baffled  and was speechless all she could do was hug him! Time hugged her back while in a hazed state, trying so hard to turn his wheels; however they didn't bring any memories back. Well at least not fully, so he sat there holding her in silence. (Time please, just rest for me please and let's just try to get you to get back in the flow of things.) Still confused time just stared at her, what did she mean and how long was I out?  (Time you've been in a coma like state for the past few months exactly half a year to be exact. So because of that time felt much slower and days grew longer. The other half of the year had much shorter days, in the midst of your absence things went all over the place. Harvesting and growing seasons were thrown off, humans and animals alike have not been able to tell what day is what or have a steady outlook on time for sleeping or anything really.) Time furrowed his brows and felt like he was to blame for everything that transpired, those poor humans and animals relied on him and what did he do, he takes a catatonic dirt nap for six months.  "I... he struggles to say! Sincerest apologies my dear, this is awful not only have I failed my duties to the earth I've also failed you." He speeds up his healing process and immediately gets back to his job as the center of time. At first he struggled but Nature guided him through his usual routine. After getting things back to normal and making sure he was back at 100% health she asked him the unthinkable. (Time can we have children?) They'd be made specifically to help us out throughout the years, so we won't be so overwhelmed? "Nature you are aware they'd be immortal just like us right and they'd be quite the hassle?" (Time please we'll create them through natural means our children would be a great help to the world, they'd have your aging process and healing process, while also having my elemental powers. Although we'd have difficulties with them, the humans and animals seem to make parenting look easy.) She grins sheepishly. "Nature I will allow this and exactly how many would you like? Four to be exact so each child won't be to overwhelmed." That seems suitable my dear, now what would you propose we do?
