Chapter 36 - Adorable blue jewel

As the oldest daughter of the Baralart family walked into the room. The air around the two sisters was noticeable quiet opposite. While the youngest was like a wild flame that burned with greed and beauty. The eldest sister was like a storm. Her beauty was very noticeable as well. With a much taller slim figure, she wore the knight clothes given to her with pride, the crest of the Baralart family on her sleeve as that of the Soleil empire was embroidered with gold lining on her chest. Her long flowing ash blonde hair flowed down her back in loose strands. Her long bangs framing her face, her forehead bangs ending below her eyebrows while longer strands at the side of her face brushed against her chin. Having finished her training her usual high pony tail was let loose with small braids pulling the rest of her hair from her face. Her stern eyes the color of pink wine.

"Big sister." Silvia spoke out almost nervously as her sister's stern eyes turned focusing on her.

"You shouldn't be speaking that way about the emperor's future wife. Even if your mind is full of childish thoughts." Leta frowned as she stopped in front of Silvia. Her tall figure hovering over her younger sister. Both stared at one another in silence, one in childish stubbornness while the other in a wielding stern look.

"Return back home, I'll inform eldest brother about this. Return now if you don't want to disgrace our family name further."

"The emperor-"

"The emperor is the emperor, and his new bride will become his equal partner. We only serve under the emperor and future Empress remember this." Leta spoke over her sister's stubborn words. Her voice raising slightly in warning as Silvia flinched. Clenching the material of her dress. Staring at her sister's reddening expression Leta glanced over at one of the servant maids who had come escorting the younger sister to the palace.

"Take her back home and make sure she does not leave her room for the time being." Under the cold gaze of the lady of the Baralart house. The maid quickly nodded her head bowing her head to her before quickly rushing to the young girl's side.

"My lady." The young maid spoke timidly to the angered girl. Slapping away the outstretched hand Silvia glanced to the side with a glare before rushing with angered steps out of the room. The poor Baralart maid following after her in rushed steps.

Hearing a heavy high Lapis turned to Leta, watching with a concerned gaze as the oldest sister rubbed her temple closing her eyes in fustration.

"Miss Leta, are you alright?" Hearing the genuine concern from his voice her expression grew more gentle. Opening her eyes she glanced up at the spoken man. A light chuckled escaping her as she took in his akward worried expression. Ever since his magesty had returned to take the throne. The people's first notice was the strange foreigner that the emperor had seemed to take under his wing. After taking the throne the delicate looking man had become one of the emperor's more trusted friends and advisor. Through interaction Lapis always seemed rather shy and awkward toward the opposite sex. His ears turning red even by the smallest kind gesture. A gentle man, whom had always reminded Leta of the gentle summer breeze or a peaceful sunny rain.

He was adorable, was the first thing that had crossed Leta's mind since that day they first met even now.

The adorable sapphire jewel had become her favorite since that day.
