''Alright, I'll call him,'' Alexander called her father and informed her that she is in his house and is seriously ill.
Elaine's father Stephen came to pick her up. He was very furious that this stupid girl couldn't stay at home and had to create a nuisance.
When he came to pick her up. Alex told him that he wanted to talk something with him.
Stephen agreed to discuss and they entered Alex's study.
Alex told him '' You should not take that DNA test seriously. I feel that there was a mistake. Can't you see that she looks exactly like you? Except for her eyes that she got from Elizabeth everything else is you. Do you believe that Elle (short for Elizbeth) would do that to you? I think you take another test that would confirm whether she is yours or not.''
'' Fine if you insist. Now can I take her home?'' Stephen asked him.
''I can't stop you.''
Stephen left the study room and went to the guest room to take her daughter home. He pondered on the words spoken to him and when he looked at this girl he could not understand how she couldn't be his daughter. He told himself that he is ready to take the test again. What worse would happen is that she would not be his daughter.
And if she turns out to be his, this would be his biggest regret and he would do anything possible to repent. If she turns out to be his daughter that he would never forgive himself for treating her like trash and for treating the one who was not biologically his daughter like a princess.
Even if this time the DNA report says she is not his daughter he will not forgive himself because he tried to punish an innocent child for her mother's sins. He would treat her like his daughter from now on.
When he reached the guest room he saw she wasn't in the room. He searched for her everywhere he couldn't find her. Frightened he called Alex '' Alex, she is not here where is she?'' and then he saw an open window and a long bed sheet hanging down the window.
