Chapter 7: Preparing to leave
When I arrived at the cafe, i saw a carriage parked beside the cafe.
The carriage has the same crest Duke Windsor has in his carriage last night.
The carriage is already here!?? Can't he wait!?
I don't even have time to work! Does he really need to see me?! Sigh..
The driver yesterday saw me and walk towards me.
"Miss Charlotte was it? Should we go?"
"Ah! Isn't it too early? I should say goodbye first before i go. Please wait here for a moment." I smiled cutely.
"S-sure.." the driver, unable to hide his blushing face.
"Ah! Thank you!" I smiled brightly.
"u-unn.." -driver.
Fuhuhuhu~
I bowed at the driver and happily left.
Elisabeth is really beautiful, he also agreed quickly. Maybe i can use this...
....
Why do i feel like i'm doing something bad!??

When I opened the entrance door, i saw kyle serving a customer.
I walk to kyle, i also bowed at the customers and smile as i walk to him.
I noticed that kyle bowed at the customer and turn around to leave.
I followed kyle.
As i followed him, his footsteps became faster.
I was able to keep up with the speed until i can reach him.
I tap his back.
"A-ahh!! W-what do you want?!!"
He looks scared and he's sweating even if it's not that hot.
Scared? Sweating? Walking fast?
OHH!!
"Kyle?! I'm sorry, did i scare you?"
"Oh- it was only you, what is the matter?"
"U-uumm.., where is ian?"
"Oh... his at the kitchen." The white as paper kyle said.
"Oh umm thank you. By the way, kyle. You should rest for five minutes. You look so pale, and you're sweating too!"
"No, i can't rest. What if people ordered something? So I can't rest. And don't worry, I'm fine. I don't need to rest."
I looked at the customers who is eating happily, not finished eating.
"Don't worry kyle, the customers aren't ordering yet. And even if someone ordered, the two (john and kris) will take care of it. So please rest."
Can't do anything, kyle just agreed.
I smiled then said goodbye to him.

"Ian?" I looked around the kitchen and spotted him.
He is seating on a chair and is stretching his back.
He is a cook. His always standing up when his cooking so it should be tiring.
When I called him, he looked at me, surprise.
"Oh Elisabeth!? Isn't it too early for you to come here and work? You should be coming here in the evening, it's still morning. What made you came to work this early?!?" The surprise ian said.
"uhh.. you see ian, you know that Duke Windsor invited me to come to his home, right?"
"Yeah, why?" I saw question marks appearing on his head.
"Since he said that he will send someone to wait outside the cafe and drive me there, I decided to come to work early today."
I added:
"But it seems that the carriage is already here before I could work."
I said in a apologetic tone.
"Ah, is this why you're early today? Hahahaha, don't worry Elisabeth, it's okay. And it's the duke so you can't turn the offer down. Consider this a day off, elisabeth." Ian smiled.
"Oh umm! Thank you ian!" A cheerful smile appeared on my face.
I noticed that ian is blushing.
Oh yeah... i did smile at him. Elisabeth is really beautiful. So because of that, she can capture the heart of every man, even woman!
It's not that weird to see someone blush when elisabeth just stand or walk.
And she's smart too, and can cook. Elisabeth is such a waifu material.
"It's okay. And it's only one day."
He looked around the room, trying to act natural.
"Then thank you! I should leave now, the duke must be waiting for me since he sends someone this early in the morning. Goodbye, ian."
"u-un..."
I left the room and said goodbye to the others.
After that, i left the cafe. The driver saw me and waited for me to come near him.
He then bowed at me and opened the carriage's door. He helped me in going in the carriage and bowed when he saw me that i sat down on the comfy blue chair, he closed the door.
The carriage started to move.
As the driver drives, my face got darker....
Sigh..
THIS REALLY HURTS!
I wish that this ride will be short!
MY BUM CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE EVEN IF THE CHAIR IS COMFORTABLE!
Sigh.. I wonder why did the duke invited me.
I thought i will never be in a noble's house after i got exiled.
I wish we didn't met! I don't like this ride! My bum hurts!
