Somewhere deep inside the Great Forest, far past the outer and inner reach that are infested with monsters was a huge lake, far in the middle of this lake a giant floating Island could be seen with huge long metallic chains anchoring it to the lake and keeping it from floating away.
Strangely surrounding the lake all types of monstrosities could be seen gathered around, either alone or in groups drinking from the water, the thing that made this scene even more odd however was the fact that no conflict could be seen around the perimeter of the lake, as if it was a safe zone where no fighting is allowed.
Wether it was the giant monstrosities from Dragons to the more normal looking ones such as giant wolfs, all stood side by side drinking or just resting, sounds of fighting and growling could be heard however from the forest, as one such Giant wolf came out of the trees towards the clearing bloody and battered, his left ear was clearly ripped off by some other monster while his front leg was limping, all around his body were all sort of bite marks.
As soon as he made it towards the clearing however his eyes which carried a hint of intelligence in them glanced towards the floating Island and flashed a sign of relief, right behind him however a menacing, slavering creature strode out of the forest. It was large with bony limbs. The creature's forelimbs were rather lanky compared to the rest of the body, and the back legs were short. From its stomach grew two more stubby arms, which were completely caked in blood, probably used for grabbing the prey. The head appeared to be a solid sphere, but it opened its jaw extremely wide to let out a horrifying, slavering snarl, unfolding its head almost like an onion and revealing rows upon rows of yellow teeth.
The creature glanced around the clearing ignoring all those present until it's gaze stopped on the Giant wolf, it seemed to have gone mad with rage perhaps because it's prey have escaped, no one could really tell but the monster seemingly blinded by rage ignored everything and dashed towards the wolf that was already too exhausted to move, it's eyes however shone with despair and insanity, it's will to live clearly not extinguished but it's body too tired to make a move.
Just when all hope seem to have been lost for the wolf a loud majestic voice roared.
"HOW DARE YOU! YOU INSOLENT LOWER LIFE-FORM!"
The flapping sound of wings followed by rustling before the figure of a stunning young maiden appeared, she had long fiery red hair flying freely with the wind with equally matching red wings similar to a flaming torch, she looked like a Goddess of War coming down to pass her judgment.
All the surrounding creatures shuddered in fear with the appearance of the young lady, that emitted an aura of majesty.
The monstrosity that have apparently broken some type of agreement, was frozen in place before It had even reached the wolf.
"You dare break the sacred pact?" Her red eyes were cold as she glared at the monster who was shivering on the ground.
"Hmph, your punishment for that is Death..." with those final words she raised one arm up as if she was an immortal passing down her judgment, atop of her arm a small ball of dark ominous red flames appeared and started expanding, all the monsters present started shivering with the appearance of the ball of flame and tried to move away but all were rooted in place by a primal fear born from deep within their souls.
The monstrosity that was the cause of all of this wanted to struggle, tried to struggle but ultimately failed, and all it could do was watch as the seemingly frail hand of the maiden pointed towards it, the ball of flame started to move ever so slowly towards itself once it made contact with it's flesh an inhuman scream resounded around the plain as it's flesh caught on fire.
It did not take long however before the monster dropped down to the ground lifeless.
Another figure soon appeared next to young lady, with Light blue, curly hair which hangs over a a fine, cheerful face, with equally light blue wings. Beady ocean eyes, set elegantly within their sockets, watch delicately over the woods, with a short well trimmed beard that charmingly compliments his hair and leaves a pleasant memory of his fortunate looks.
"Eso, Don't you think that was a bit of an overkill?" He said
"That thing, deserved it for all I care." She shrugged, while her eyes scanned the monsters present, as if daring them to make a move, unfortunately or fortunately none dared to raise their head in her presence not even the esteemed Dragons.
"How boring, I was finally excited thinking there would be something interesting, turns out it's just an Ugly stupid monster."
"You know we can always sneak out, maybe we can make it till the outer perimeter this time." Winked the young man.
"Shuush, you Idiot don't speak so loudly the last thing we want is Suzi hearing us!" Spoke Eso in a hushed voice while looking left and right as if afraid someone might pop out.
"Ugh, true true" replied the guy while involuntarily shuddering
"Though, Simo Think we can make it before the Elders find out?"
"It's worth the try, and Keii get out here I know you are out there lurking." He said while flashing a toothy grin.
"Shhhh, Suzi is gonna hear you." hissed a new figure that suddenly appeared next to him.
Keii had pure shoulder length white hair and glowing white wings that seemed to cast a holy glow on everything around it. Apparently she had been spying on the couple for the whole time.
"So you in or out? I'm sure Eso is in."
"Hey! I never said I was!"
"Oh shuush please we all know you want to go."
"Sure should be interesting to see you get in trouble again." Replied Keii with a huge grin on her face.
"Not if you guys don't rat me out like last time!"
"Not my fault you were an Idiot and caused us to get caught." Shrugged Eso
"YOU BAILED ON ME THE SECOND YOU HEARD THE ELDERS MIGHT COME!!"
Keii started laughing one hand on her stomach the other wiping her tears.
"Guys! Where are you? I made snacks!" Yelled a soft voice.
"Shit! Suzi..." Said Simo while visibly shuddering he then shot a glare to the other girls.
"FOOD!" Yelled Keii ready to fly off, until she realized their situation and looked back towards Simo.
"Don't you DARE rat me out this time! And i'm looking at you Eso, i'm going ahead alone this time it's already too late, cover me, Keii I trust you!" With one final determined look he then soared silently in the air deeper in the Forest.
A couple of seconds later another figure could be seen gently flying towards Eso and Keii that were still floating atop of the lake. She had soft green hair that reached till her shoulders, green eyes that shined like gems, complimented by her green Wings, there was something gentle about her, she wore a soft smile while slowly approaching the girls. Her brows however were soon frowned.
"How come I don't see Simo?"
"No Idea I just came here when I heard Eso was gonna deal with the problem and I didn't see him." Smiled Keii innocently
"Hmmm, I see what about you Eso?"
Cold sweat trickled her back as she forced herself to smile, while scratching her head.
"N-no Idea Ha-Ha."
"You wouldn't happen to be Lying to me now are you Eso?" Gently Smiled Suzi, but there was something scary about it as it made both Eso and Keii to shiver involuntarily.
"He went towards the outer perimeter of the Forest!" Replied Eso while Keii facepalmed.
"That Idiot, If the Elders find out he won't get out of it easily this time." Sighted Suzi while pinching the bridge of her nose.
"He just left so he can't be that far." Shrugged Keii
"Let's go we are going after him, I can sense him deep in the forest he's already close to the outer perimeter, Keii we will need your help to catch up to him."
"Sure leave it to me." She then raised her hand towards Her companions and they both started glowing a faint white color making all three of them look holy.
"Once we catch up to him, i'll try and pin him down while Eso you bomb his ass!"
"Ha-Ha, I mean I know he won't die But isn't that too much?"
"You know how slippery he can be with his water body so just focus on stopping him, let's go!"
The trio then turned into beams of light that flew deeper towards the Forest, chasing after their companion.
