The moment Butler Tang heard from Liu Jin and Zhihao, he immediately phoned Wang Jing. The old man in turn investigated the matter quickly and soon, their suspicions were confirmed.
Upon analyzing the CCTV footages around the park, they noticed a man following the children all throughout their visit. They checked on his profile and they found out that he was a truck driver affiliated with the company hired to do the park's renovations.
Wang Jing quickly sent his men to check on the man's address. However, it appears that they were a moment too late. Upon arriving at the man's house, they found him decapitated – his head dumped a mile away from his home.
They searched around the area, trying to find a lead to the mastermind. However, all they found was a CCTV footage taken near the highway showing four masked men using a getaway car without a license plate.
Without further leads, Wang Jing was again at a dead end.
