It was a cold and callous day, as a young man was walking slowly down the pedestrian crossing when out of nowhere a random seemingly ordinary truck appeared in his path.
And without any hesitation, it rushed towards him surpassing the speed of light like it was a piece of paper and ripped through it as it collided head-on with the young man.
Now seeing such a thing the young man merely laughed as he flipped his head with his hair now far from his eyes his face was revealed.
His features were so sculpted that he looked like a top calibre supermodel that was capable of putting even the 'Devils and Immortals to shame with his looks.'
His long silky onyx black hair rose to the air as if he was going to power up while a grin donned his delicious faces looks. He had sword-like eyebrows as his eyes were inverted like those of a snake.
Seeing him Truck-kun said, 'Who would've thought my only friend who was more like a brother to me would, in the end, betray me for that Jade Mongrel- we both know I would've let you rule since I wasn't much of a work kinda guy- yet you gave your all in crippling me- to think I'd even trusted you- say what you want Ling Tian- you threw me on this path remember that!!'
'You Betrayed Me Ling Tian- You Were My Brother- Everything I Did Was For Your Safety, Yet You Tossed Me Aside, For What Lust, Wealth And Fame Everything I Gave Up In Order To Raise You Up From A Mortal Into An Immoral Immortal... It Seems in my lifetime I'd made a terrible mistake...'
Seemingly as if contacting with the truck that had no driver, the man then replied telepathically to the ever so slightly incoming truck.
'SHUT UP... It was you- you were always the kind and handsome one, everyone loved you- the one in a million genius unrivalled in everything- you made me into your sidekick YOUR side character- I wasn't looked on as Ling Tian the Sword Emperor but rather your little brother!! Do you understand how I felt when my skills weren't acknowledged as if I was given all my might and skills from you!!'
'Hah, so even after all these years your still at the Dao of the Devil realm, c' mon Truck-kun I expected much better with you... After all, you were my 'older brother' that was chosen as the favoured son of heaven.'
'Yet look at you now, you've fallen to the dark arts and I've only gone up and up, yet you've fallen so low that you'd stoop to killing mortals just for their karmic bonds.'
'I think it's time I make things right and attain vengeance for all those mortals killed by you for your own sickly gain!'
"I think it's time to kill you too and take your Karmic Bonds!!"
Were the words the seemingly Immortal being said as with a blink he arrived in front of the Truck as the Truck seemingly ripped right through him.
Though no bloodstains were visible, rather the faint smell of diesel and mechanical parts slowly wafted into one's nose.
As black viscous liquid was present on the ground. The once-mighty truck was reduced to rubble by his 'Eternal Rival!'
The truck knew he did wrong yet didn't accept it as he rewarded each mortal with supernatural powers and transmigrated them while on his diesel break.
So he felt that he was obligated to take away their karmic bonds, but oh how wrong he was- to take a person's deeds both bad and good was incomparably evil as it meant the being would have to face reincarnation every time they died with no rest in peace present for them.
Can you imagine it being reincarnated every single generation due to having no karmic bonds, no freedom the Circle of Samsara- only a new life awaited each death.
It was painful, miserable and disillusioning to say the least as each time their loved ones would die while they'd live on and so on- this cycle would exist forever due to the demonic trucks nefarious ways to grow stronger.
He was stuck on the Dao of the Devil realm due to a crippling injury he'd received in the past when he'd fought against the Jade Emperor sending him back down to the Dao Realm from his once unattainable rank from True Martial Emperor Rank.
And the only way back to his previous strength was through consuming karmic bonds, precisely mortal karmic bonds as their souls were too pure compared to Immortals, Buddha's and Devils.
Due to each race doing extremely horrific things to gain their lofty might.
The one he had fought just now was his eternal rival, they had grown up together as they achieved immortality together as well, but their friendship corroded when Truck-kun rejected the coronation of the Jade Warrior, he then fought a battle that lasted a single eternity.
Causing both Yin and Yang to dissolve in each other as their clashes ruptured the very existence of reality causing tears in the fabric of reality so big that they formed into different Omniverses.
They spawned multiple dimensions and worlds due to their fists clashing as they called upon their worthy warriors, to fight alongside them.
As ice defeated flame and thunder defeated water, their battle was literally an eternity shaking the very reaches of the immortal realm and threatened to destroy even the Sage Realm where the True Martial Emperor's resided.
But in a hint of surprise Truck-kun found himself on the losing side as all the other True Martial Emperor's had become sick of such insubordination that they'd directly worked together on a finishing move and this was launched at his 99 diesel filled Wings causing him to in the end succumb to the attacks and finally become crippled.
However, he never gave up and released his own last attack that directly cut off the Jade Warriors right arm off causing him to wince in pain as he used his Chaos attribute to ensure it never grew back.
And with that, he was banished forever never to return to the Sage realm as he became a truck as punishment and had to live as a mechanical machine for the rest of his sorry life and collect Karmic Bonds or else his life would end if he didn't have enough fuel and Karmic Bonds to sustain himself.
However, his Eternal Rival just ended his atonement as he allowed him to finally die or so it would seem.
