Just as she was getting obsessed with the blanket a notification jumped up on the screen. [Dear traveler, in order to make the character's act more realistically the traveler cannot expose theirselves to assigned character or any other characters. Try to avoid making things move in front of them to avoid their suspicions! If you expose yourself the characters might work together to get rid of you and the game will be considered a failure. You will not be able to retry Hell mode ever again.]
Eh what a weird game. Why are the consequences so extreme. Katherine lips tilted into a frown as she picked up the wrinkled up blanket and dragged it toward the bed. She then tried her best to make it look like normal.
Suddenly through her headphones she heard the sound of rushed foot steps getting closer to the room. She stopped smoothing the blanket and watched as the silver door to the room opened up. From the hallway a kid dressed in an all white outfit entered the room.
Katherine watched with a bored expression. Was this the first cut scene?
Ah who cared she just wanted to play around with the blanket more.
The kid was extremely pale and had long silver hair, his eyes were a horrifying blood red, but because of how large his child like eyes were, it didn't cause much fear.
With an agitated expression the child leaned against the silver door as if trying to stop someone from getting in. The silver door that he leaned his back against caused smoke to start coming from his skin.
Katherine looked concerned, was he burning himself?
Soon afterwards something from the outside bumped against the door at full force. The child wasn't able to withstand the pressure and was thrown on the cold stone floor. Looking at his charred back that had burnt through his white outfit, Katherine realized her guess was correct.
What was he so terrified about that he withstood being burnt?
The kid quickly crawled father away toward the wall before the person outside busted the door open.
Katherine focused on the figure expecting to see some kind of gruesome monster, however what sat outside the door instead was a beautiful woman.
The woman's pink hair flowed effortlessly around her body causing her to look like an otherworldly goddess. However, her black eyes burned with evil intentions.
The screen zoomed in on the woman's face and a title screen showed up at the bottom of the phone [Jailor #1]. Then the screen zoomed out and showed the entire screen again.
"You fucking bastard. Where is it." The woman rushed toward the bed and grabbed the sheets before yanking them off. Her abnormally long nails shredded the blanket cleanly, leaving it as a ripped up mess of the ground.
Katherine felt pain for her hard work smoothing the blanket out.
The same nails ripped apart the mattress as well and then with an insane amount of strength the woman broke the entire metal bed. The remains of the bed were laid across the stone ground, however the woman didn't seem to be able to find what she was looking for.
Her black eyes landed on the kid before she started to approach him. "Tell me where you put the daylight potion now!" She screeched into his face.
Two long fangs grew out of her teeth resembling those of a saber tooth tiger. A low growl sounded in the back of her beautiful throat. Yet, the kid didn't seem to care at all as he met her eyes steadily.
Katherine, however, had a full view of the room and noticed the kid's hands shaking behind his back.
"I didn't steal the daylight potion."
The woman cursed and grabbed the kid around his neck before throwing him harshly against the wall. A blood mark was left on the wall as the kid fell limply to the ground.
"You are nothing more than a lab experiment how dare you steal from your masters! Do you think you can use that potion to escape with the lab rats?"
Katherine noticed that when the kid was tossed against the wall his health bar went from 35% to 15%.
Was this some kind of boss fight?
Katherine knew it was just a game and if she failed she could just download another one, but she didn't really want the cute little game character to die.
How did she fight off the monster without exposing herself? The woman started to tear apart more sections of the room until it was practically ruins, but she couldn't find what she was looking for.
Her breathing turned ragged. However, just as she was about to give up she noticed a crack in a wall she hadn't touched.
Her lips turned up and the kids downturned eyes flashed with stress. Katherine would of previously laughed at herself for feeling stressed out about a game, but did the kid put the daylight potion there?
Wrinkles formed on her forehead, she felt like this wasn't just a scene for her to watch, she should do something, but what?
Katherine tested it out slowly and lightly tapped the woman as she started to walk toward the cracked wall. As if the push really happened the woman stumbled.
Her black eyes flashed around the room on high alert.
Why did she feel like someone pushed her, she looked at the powerless kid on the ground who looked like he was about the breathe his last breaths.
Maybe she just tripped...
The woman ignored the incident and continued toward the rock, Katherine planned to tap her again, but before she could the woman seemed to teleport in front of the stone.
