Chapter 14 - Chapter Fourteen

After a long time, Hisashi was satisfied, Jamie was dead tired and couldn't feel his body. Hisashi got up and put his robe on, making his way to grab a bottled water. Jamie was going to get his robe too but fell fast asleep instead, the worry really got to him. Hisashi noticed Jamie sleeping so he went to get a wet cloth to wipe the sweat and sticky substances that were all over his body.

The next morning Jamie woke up to throbbing pain and an empty bed. Hisashi was nowhere to be seen. Jamie got up from the bed, groaning and stretching. Grabbing the robe that was on the floor then grabbing his glasses from the nightstand. Making his way to the bathroom to wash his face, Jamie noticed that his neck was covered in hickeys. "Oh, fuck!" Jamie yelled swinging his arms in the air. If Akira saw at least one he'll be dangerously mad. Sighing Jamie went to go take a quick shower.

Limping, Jamie made his way home, although he had already missed two days of school he decided it's best to go the next day. Entering inside the doors to his house, as quickly as he could to his room. Jamie flopped himself down his futon groaning as he took a nap, he fell asleep too late and was tired. After a while, Jamie woke up and checked the time. "Just an hour?" Jamie said groggy, rubbing his eye in frustration. He pushed himself up and went over to the kitchen, hoping his father wasn't there. Walking slowly trying not to make noise, but the creaky wooden floor wasn't much of any help. When he entered the kitchen to his surprise no one was present, Jamie sighed in relief. He went over to the cabinets and began a search for something edible, the only thing he was able to find was instant ramen and put it to boil. Jamie sat down on one of the dark red cushions and waited for his food to be prepared. He browsed his phone for a while when he began to eat the ramen. Just then Jamie got a call from Akira. Nervously he gulped down the ramen he had in his mouth and answered the call.

"H-Hey!" Jamie shouted awkwardly.

"Why didn't you come to school today?" Akira asked with a slight tone of anger.

"Uh, well I had to go to this really, really important um reunion?" Jamie said scratching his hair and fiddling with his shirt.

Jamie heard Akira scoff over the phone and cursed under his breath.
