Chapter 1 - Chapter One Prologue (The real beginning)

(Disclaimer;the following is intended for only mature audiences, read at your own risk.)

Usui Jamie is a typical teenage boy who attends Kohei Prefecture High School. He has no intention of drama whatsoever, and only brings his nose to things that matter, hardly ever at that. Thinking of a good excuse to come up for his parents so he could be allowed to join the nearest music competitions. Being a naive high school boy with high hopes for the future, he intends to keep doing what he loves the most, and that's spending all his free time playing a violin, typical right?

His love for music began to blossom when an old friend of his from his much younger days begged to be his accompanist, so Jamie played the violin and the friend never missed a practice hearing him play sweet melodies. But a misleading breakup caused them to part ways, Jamie although felt the music he got the chance to play would really wound his broken heart so he kept playing until he felt that music was his only escape from life. "Now, Usui may you please. answer the following question on the board?"

"Eh?"

"The question on the board!"

His teacher Mr. Saito was giving him a stern look of annoyance as he gritted his teeth to contain the anger he could no longer hold. "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying much attention," Jamie said glaring a little at his teacher, getting up from his seat, he got all his belongings in one place, which consisted of notebooks and mechanical pencils scattered all over his desk, and of course the sheet music he decided to perform. "And what do you think you're doing?" Mr. Saito asked through gritted teeth as Jamie heard the chalk snap. "I'm not feeling very well I have to go to the nurse, excuse me." And before Jamie even gave the chance for Mr. Saito to yell at him for being inconsiderate he dashed out the door without looking back. "That damn boy! Leaving whenever he feels like it! Making me look like a scum!!" Mr. Saito clenched his fist and threw them in the air as he mumbled endless things that got him nowhere. Everyone began to whisper as they took Mr. Saito's anger for granted and wanted to chat with friends for a little. 'Isn't Usui really handsome?' One girl whispered to her friend. 'He's so mysterious exactly my type!' The other said. 'But, did you hear about the rumor they said about him in middle school?' A nosy girl went to join the girl's conversation. 'They said he had a boyfriend! They say he's gay!' She laughed and began to tap her finger in her chin. 'No way! That's so gross! Never mind that, they're just rumors!' At this point, the girls were talking loud, the chattering of the classroom increased and Mr. Saito was brought back to his senses. "Alright, quiet down class!" He pinched the top of his nose where his eyebrows meet in pure frustration.

Jamie was sitting down the long narrow hall that looked really dusty and old filled with moldy-covered walls connecting the building together. He leaned his head back and smirked, 'Gay huh?' He told himself as he got up from his spot to avoid any passerby. Changing quickly his expression as his thoughts brought him back to the friend he wishes he could forget. He made his way to his favorite place, the music room. Since his parents mostly his dad, oppose his liking for music he worked and worked to get himself a decent violin for himself as the school couldn't provide much. He loved it with all his heart, the only thing that brought him together. He took it out and placed his shoulder rest on the back of the body, making sure it fit just right. Then he took his bow and began to add some rosin to give it a loud sound. Since he played for so long he was able to tune with the help of the piano that was in the middle of the music room. He started off with just a few quick warm-ups before he began to play a little bit of his favorite piece. He stopped to take a quick break as he grabbed a chair when he heard clapping. "Well, well, well! If it isn't our famous musician!" Jamie smirked he knew perfectly well whose voice that belonged to.
