Cyan threw arrows towards his foe, he knew the action was useless but he had to do something. The enemy in front of him was far to fast to be struck by such a simple trick. As expected the arrows did not land, instead the vampire looked at him with a look of contempt as he caught the three flying arrows in mid air, crushing them in his hand. A look of disappointment crossed the vampires eyes as he looked at Cyan.
"I was hoping you Had some brains Cyan." The vampire spoke as he shook his head. "The first ming the beast men have produced in centuries, and yet you're just going to throw your life away."
The vampire advanced, before Cyan could even react he felt a foot planted into his chest as he was pushed back several feet. He swung out with his arm, but was not surprised when he hit nothing but air. His opponent was simply to fast for him, unless he got lucky there was no way he was going to land an attack. Hid eyes wandered the area in front of him. He could see Beka slowly getting to her feet on the far wall. Her body entered stealth and she disappeared. She was to far away for him to know where she was at.
He briefly thought about summoning the pack, but rejected the idea almost immediately. The vampire would not hesitate to end their lives, it would simply be throwing their lives away to summon them now.
The vampire was not idle as he was thinking, he once again approached, this time several small cuts appeared on his body as the vampire drug his sharp nails across his flesh. Blood began to flow from his body, and the vampire brought a finger covered in blood to his mouth.
"mmm the blood of royalty is something that nothing else can surpass. I will enjoy feasting on you foolish King."
The vampire once again advanced, his body a blur as he approached. Up until this point the vampire had not used a single skill, only relying on his overwhelming speed to take the advantage.
Cyan closed his eyes, He could not rely on his sight to counter this vampire. His eyes simply could not keep track of the movements. He concentrated on his hearing, The vampires movements were soft, barely any noise could be heard as his feet struck the ground. He could faintly hear them approaching from the right, but before he could react he felt a sharp pain in his side as he was once again struck by the approaching vampire.
His blood that flowed from his wounds herded into a layer of ice, protecting the spots he had already been wounded in. The vampires voice once again sounded. "You managed to awaken an elemental body did you? That will just make this more fun foolish wolf."
The sounds of the Vampires approach once again rang in Cyans ears. This time the approach was from the front. Cyan threw out his arm to block, hitting nothing but air. Several cuts appeared on his face. The blood began to seep into his eyes as it froze. Now even if he wanted to he could not rely on his vision to see. He was temporarily blinded.
A low growl escaped his throat as he continued to listen for the enemy. He could hear soft footsteps sounding all around him. They seemed to be circling him. A notification appeared in his mind as he listened.
Fuck! cyan cursed to himself as he read the notification, the countdown appearing in his mind as he continued to listen for his opponent. His opponent approached him from behind, his speed seemed faster than before. Cyan did not hesitate to roll to the left, barely dodging the incoming attack of the vampire. The vampire continued to barrel spastic him. His speed becoming faster as his footsteps turned, once again approaching him from the front.
Cyan stood up to gave the attack, Covering his vitals with his massive arms he felt a bulge in his pocket. a round orb that had not been there before.
He waited for the coming attack, but was instead greeted by the sound of an explosion as the footsteps stopped in front of him. An ice cold chill filled his body as he felt his body becoming frozen. He struck out with his left hand, the only part of his body that he could still move. His claws met resistance as the slashed through cold flesh. Blood splattered on to his frozen body, causing it to freeze on impact.
A grim smile appeared on Cyans face as he continued to strike out at the body in front of him. The attacks continued to hit, but he had no idea where he was striking. At this moment He finally summoned the pack, he could hear clearly the breathing of the four wolves as they began to tear into the frozen flesh in front of him.
The counter in his head had reached 60 seconds, a minute had passes since the notification popped up. He stopped his attack, leaving it to the wolves as he concentrated on his own body. He could feel an abundance of water mana covering the right side of his body, as well as his various wounds. The most pressing was the water mana that covered his eyes.
The timer was counting down, already an additional 15 seconds had passed. He quickly began to use his ability [Mana flow] to deconstruct the ice that covered his eyes. The mana in the ice was sluggish, not wanting to respond to his urging. He did not have the time to focus on both eyes at this rate. He grit his teeth as he was forced to make a sacrifice. He focused all of his control on his right eye, forcing the mana to circulate and melt. He slowly regained his vision in that eye, being able to see perfectly from it as the counter reached 0.
His left eye felt a sudden pain as the frozen mana seeped into the socket. The eyeball inside completely froze, and then shattered, leaving behind an empty socket that had been frozen shut. His water body quickly went to work, healing he "Damage" that was causes, forming an ice patch over his eye. A notification appeared before him.
