"Yes Jeffrey."
"Mom. KC is pregnant."
"You are not kidding me, right? Because if you are, I will definitely disown you." Mrs. Nica looks thrilled. Maybe because of the thought of having another baby in their household.
"I wish I were." Jeffrey's voice sounds sad.
"Don't say that. Are you not happy?"
"I am. But KC is worried. You know her parents."
"That's not a problem son. Get married next month." Nica stood up and give Baby Rein to her mother. She keeps a distance between her and the other couple.
"Mom? Are you sure of that? We barely get in touch with our wedding supplier and you were suggesting of getting married next month."
"Not a problem. Leave it all to me. And besides if you and KC gets married next month. That means Michaelle and Rein could marry next year." Nica Chen is getting excited. It is being apparent with her voice.
"Let's just talk about it later over dinner. I will talk to KC first regarding your suggestion. I have to go Mom. Bye."
"Ok son. Don't stress yourself out."
After ending the call, she immediately went back to the living room.
"How is Ahia?" Michaelle asked her mother without looking directly at her. She is busy playing with Baby Rein's cheeks while Rein is reading something from his cellphone.
"Well, he sounds worried but then I came up with a solution. They will be getting married next month." Nica Chen get some macaroons as if she did not say anything wrong.
"What? Next month!?" Michaelle was really shock. She was aware of the progress of the wedding planning and yet the wedding will be held next month.
Rein look at them. He did not understand what's going on, but he knows that the matter is serious.
"Relax honey. Don't get panic. As if it is your wedding. Besides, your wedding with Rein will be next year. You have ample amount of time." Nica Chen sips her tea after giving them another surprises.
"Wedding!? Mom! What are you talking about? Rein and I have not talk about it yet."
"I insist. I am getting old and I want you, both of you and your Ahia to get married before I decided to retire."
"What? You are being selfish again. Making decision as if we are your mere tools." Michaelle stood up and went upstairs.
"I'm sorry Mom for Michaelle's behavior." Rein stood up and give her a bow before he went upstairs to talk to her fiancée.
Nica released a heavy sigh. "This is the only way to protect you Chaelle. I won't let anyone to harm you. Not that I'm still alive."

Rein turn the doorknob and slowly enters Michaelle's bedroom. Baby Rein is playing inside his crib while Michaelle is sitting on the edge of her bed. Rein kneeled in front of her and hold her hands.
"Princess…" He gently talks to her while looking up at her.
Michaelle did not answers back. She still looks upset.
"Baby, don't get me wrong ok? First, I wanted to clear something to you. I am on your side. I will be always on your side. However, what you did earlier is not right. Do you understand my point?" He lightly presses her palm.
Michaelle nodded. "I know. But she is also wrong of-" She did not want to continue what she wanted to say.
"I know. I know. But still, she is your mother. Can I say something about what happened earlier? About the wedding?" Rein reached for her cheeks and gently caressed it.
"I don't disagree with your mother. I will suggest the same if she did not decide it for us. You know why?"
Michaelle looks at him but did not say a word.
"Because I can't wait you to be my wife. I couldn't wait to call you mine. Be your husband, build our own house together with Baby Rein and our future children. So, if given a chance, if I could marry you next month or even tomorrow, I will happily accept it. It does not matter if it is simple or luxurious. What really matter is the two of us."
"How did you do this?" Michaelle became emotional. Tears were running down her cheeks.
Rein release a soft laugh while standing up. He moves closer to give her the warmest hug he could offer. "I love you Chaelle. I love you so much my future wife."
"I love you more Rein. I love you so much my future husband."

"You did not eat dinner with us last night? What happened? Dr. Lee said you are not feeling well." Jeffery Chen said while reviewing some files on his desk.
Michaelle leaned her head on the headrest of one of Jeffrey's sofa inside his office.
"How's the wedding preparation? I heard it would be next month?" She said while her eyes were close.
"Well, we couldn't do anything about this. We already informed KC's parents and unexpectedly they agreed."
"Maybe mom did something about it."
"Perhaps."
"How is KC by the way?"
"Her morning sickness is getting worst. So, we decided to admit her here."
"I remember how I deal with it. Being pregnant really sucks."
Jeffrey was about to answer back when they heard three knocks on his office door.
"Come in."
"Good afternoon Dr. Chen, I am Dr. Romia Park from the KATC." She smiled and take a bow as way of showing respect.
"You were early Dr. Park, please take a seat first. And excuse this shameless doctor. Please, don't mind her." He beamed at her.
"Thank you, Dr. Chen." She takes a seat in front of Michaelle.
"KATC. You mean the Army Training Center!?" Michaelle suddenly opens her eyes and shock is obvious in her face.
"Uhm, ye-yes doctor?" Dr. Park obviously was shocked. She thought that the female doctor in front of her was sleeping.
"I'm Michaelle Yoon. Nice to meet you." She stood up and offer her hand for a handshake.
"Oh my God! Are you really Michaelle Yoon? Michaelle Yoon from the local province of-" She did not able to finish her sentence.
"You look familiar. Mia? Are you my friend Mia!?" She unconscious covers her mouth.
"Yes Elle, it's me Mia!"
Upon hearing those words, Michaelle immediately step up on the coffee table and jump over her long-lost friend. Luckily, Mia was able to catch her, and they were like a newly wed couple in their position.
"I think you already knew each other. I was a bit shock earlier when you jump towards her." It was Dr. Chen.
Another knock was heard, and Rein went inside.
"What's going on? Why are you-?" Rein looks at Michaelle and Mia and then to Jeffrey Chen.
Mia carefully put Michaelle down.
"I'm sorry I get a little excited." Michaelle released an awkward laugh.
"A little excited Shobe? Just a little, huh?" Jeffrey moves closer to them.
"Care to enlighten me?" This time it is Rein. He looks pissed.
"Oh, I'm sorry, before anything else, Dr. Mia, this is my fiancé Dr. Rein Lee. By the way, remember the jerk we were talking about before? Here he is, my brother, Dr. Jeffrey Chen. Everyone, she is Dr. Mia Park, my childhood friend, also daughter of one of Uncle Ron's bodyguard before." A long introduction of Michaelle.
"The jerk?" Dr. Chen's eyebrow arched upward.
"Oh…That was him. Finally, I was able to meet you." Mia shook his hand.
"What?" Jeffrey Chen was unable to react.
On the other hand, Rein and Michaelle cannot hold their laugh anymore. They both burst into a hard laugh upon seeing Dr. Chen's funny reaction.

"So that was it? Jeffrey became your topic and target while practicing your martial arts?" It was KC. They decided to offer her a visit in her room.
"Yes, soon to be sister-in-law. I was very angry and disappointed with Dr. Jeffrey that time so as a motivation, we kept thinking him as our target especially during archery." She was eating a citrus fruit that they brought for KC.
"That's funny. I wanted to know her. Honey, let us invite her to our wedding." KC is getting excited to meet the childhood friend of Michaelle.
"No. We don't personally know her. So, it is a no." Jeffrey Chen crossed his legs before he leaned his back against the chair.
"Honey, please…" KC pleaded.
"Hey Ahia, don't stress KC out. Mia is a good woman. She is a good friend of mine."
"Then go invite her to your wedding."
A tear escaped from the left eye of KC. She hurriedly wipes it with the back of her left hand.
"Oh my gosh. Are you CRYING?" Michaelle emphasized the word CRYING to intentionally caught Jeffrey Chen's attention.
"Honey what's wrong?" Jeffrey Chen immediately came over her fiancée.
KC shook her head and did not say a word.
"Alright, alright, we will invite Dr. Park to our wedding. Satisfied?" Jeffrey Chen look at her. After seeing her nod, he hugs her to comfort her even more.
Behind his back, KC look at Michaelle and give her a thumbs up. Then she grinned at her. Then, Michaelle return the thumbs up and beamed at her.

"Here Mrs. Kim. Take this Cephalexin 2x a day for 7 days and then get back on the 8th day to check if your condition will be improved." Michaelle's last instruction to her 29th patient on the OPD clinic.
"Thank you, Dr. Yoon." She stood up and went outside.
"Next" She called for the nurse on duty.
"Dr. Yoon, she will be your last patient." She go inside to give Dr. Yoon the OPD chart of her last patient. "Please come in Mrs. Lim." The nurse opens the door for her.
"Good day Doctor." Mrs. Lim greeted her.
"Good afternoon Mrs. Amanda Lim. Please take a seat." Michaelle gesture to the chair in front of her table.
The patient smiles at her before she takes the seat.
"What can I do for you Mam?"
"Uhmm, I have this belly and back pain for almost a month now. Then my appetite became poor because I felt nauseated whenever I eat my meals. Then yesterday, I have noticed that my urine was darker than before. My stools look greasy and unintentionally, I lose some weight."
"Hmmm. Let me see." Michaelle stands up and moves closer to the patient. She does some physical exam like the routine check up of breathing and heartbeat. She also checks the patient's skin and the white of her eyes. She lightly press her abdominal area.
"Tell me if you feel some pain."
"Yes doctor."
She pressed the left quadrant. "Any pain here?"
"Nothing doctor."
"How about here." She slowly moves to the right quadrant.
The patient gasp because of pain. "Ye-yes doctor."
"I will perform an abdominal ultrasound to you. Are you familiar with it?"
"Yes doctor." The patient is becoming anxious upon hearing the word ultrasound.
"Please don't get agitated. This is simple and easy."
"Yes doctor. Thank you." Mrs. Lim tried to give her a smile.
After getting the ultrasound machine ready, she let the patient lie down and then she performs the examination afterwards. Michaelle did not say anything. Her face became serious.
"Doctor Yoon? Is everything alright?" The patient is becoming a little bit worried.
"Please relax Mrs. Lim."
"I'm sorry."
"No problem. Ok. All done. Please take a seat first before I will discuss my instructions." She go back to her chair and write on her prescription pad.
"Alright. I will not say anything until we confirmed my suspicion. We will do some test to verify it. First, urinalysis, stool exam, complete blood count, blood chemistry test to see the amount of electrolytes and some fats in your blood, then we will do a hemoglobin A1c test to check your average level of blood sugar over the past 2 to 3 months, and lastly, make an appointment for a multiphase CT scan as soon as possible."
"CT scan doctor?" Mrs. Lim reconfirmed.
"Yes, multiphase, or pancreatic protocol CT scan, Mrs. Lim. I have seen some abnormalities but to have a clearer view, we need to do some advance imaging test." Michaelle looks serious.
Mrs. Lim release a heavy breath. Her hand is trembling upon getting the list of tests from her. Michaelle notice it and slowly, she reached for her arms.
"Do not get too worried. I will do my best as a doctor to help you out." Michaelle smiles at her. She needs to gain her trust and make her less worry.
"Thank you, Dr. Yoon." Mrs. Lim tried to give her a smile.
Michaelle stood up and guided her patient to the door.
"Nurse, please assist Mrs. Lim in scheduling her tests." Michaelle closes the door before she bid goodbye to them.

"Dr. Lee, where are you?"
"In the Neurosurgery Ward. Are you done with the OPD consultation?" Rein said on the other line.
"Yes. My last patient is remarkable."
"Why?"
"I felt bad for her. I suspected that she has a serious disease." She sounds empathetic. "Anyway, I am calling you to inform you of my date with Dr. Mia Park. We will be eating dinner outside. Is that alright with you?"
"Where?"
"In a Korean Restaurant just 3 blocks away from here."
"Do you want me to fetch you later?" He offered while he is writing some notes.
"Mia will bring her car. We will just eat so; you really don't have to."
"Hmmm. I guess my Michaelle didn't miss me."
"I miss you too of course. But I have already promised Mia to treat her over dinner. If you like, I will call Mom to inform her that we will be staying in your place later."
"What are you suggesting?" Rein smirked and then turned red. He walks away immediately so no one could see his reaction.
"Nothing. I just miss my Rein and his place. What do you think?"
"Not a bad idea. The last time we spend time together was when we bathed-"
"Don't try to finish your sentence Dr. Lee. We are in the hospital; you are getting shameless each day."
Rein released a hard laugh. "Don't worry, I am already in my office." He opens the door of his office and immediately go inside.
"Want me to come over there. I still have an hour before my appointment?"
"Sure. You are very welcome here my princess." He chuckled.
"Alright be right there after a minute."

"Yes Chen." Franco Lee coldly answer his phone.
"Franco, my wedding will be on 15th of June. I already told your brother Henry about it. Did you get my formal invitation?"
Franco, the second son of Lee Family, the lawyer who has the same personality with Dr. Rein Lee, opens the invitation to the Chen-Go's wedding.
"Yes." His simple reply.
"You and Dr. Rein Lee are really similar. Anyways, you could bring someone. You have a plus one."
"Don't kid me Chen."
"Sorry Dude. Anyways, we are expecting you. Don't let us down."
"Ok. I'll spend you some of my time. Afterall, it would be the first and last right?" He seriously replied.
"You really good with jokes Franco. See you next month."
"Alright Chen." Then he put down the receiver. He looks at the invitation and take some time to read it.

"Dr. Lee." Michaelle opens the door of his office.
"You are being too formal whenever we are in the hospital. You don't have to do that. Everyone knows my relationship with you."
"Still, we have to keep the professionalism inside the hospital." She locks the door before she moves closer to him and give him a quick kiss.
"Take a seat baby."
She was about to turn around to move away when Rein grab her arm
"What?" Michaelle confusedly ask her fiancé.
"Here." He lightly patted his lap to make it obvious that he wanted her to sit on it.
"Are you sure? Here in your office?" She reconfirmed.
"Uh-huh." He grinned at her and then pull her closer.
"You really did miss me." She said while putting her arm around his neck.
Rein did not response back. Instead, he moves his face closer to her. Slowly, he closes his eyes signaling what he wanted to do. Michaelle read the signal he gave and follow his lead. Upon closing her eyes, she felt his soft lips brushing against hers.
Like what he usually does, the stroke of his lips against hers is gentle and slow at first. But once Michaelle responded, the kiss became aggressive while remaining passionate.
Michaelle felt his left hands unbuttoning her blouse. Then after a few seconds, she felt his warm hands against the skin of her right breast.
"Rein…hmmm…" She moaned when Rein's lips move under her ears. His right hand is guiding her head to have a better access of her neck.
"Baby…" He whispered in her ears. "I want you. Can we do it here?"
"Wait, No... Rein… Please…" She was unable to protest because Rein started sucking her right breast while his left hand is inside her underwear.
"Please Rein. Stop." She was trying to resist him but the more she pushes him, the more he became aggressive.
"You are lying Baby..." He moves back on kissing her lips.
"No. I am serious. Please stop. We are-"
"Are you sure? You want me to stop? We will be quick." Rein slowly removes her underwear and heaved her on top of his desk.
"Are you really going to do this?" Her breathing is becoming heavy.
"Why not? Nobody is in here. But as much as I wanted you to scream my name, you must be quiet. Ok?" He was on the middle of unbuckling his belt when his phone rings.
"Rein…Your phone is ringing."
"Let it be Baby. They could wait."
"What if it's an emergency." She insisted.
Rein released a disappointed sigh. He reached for his phone and answered it annoyingly.
"What is it?" He pulled Michaelle closer to him afraid that she might escape from him. While talking to the other line, he gently caressing her hair. "Fine. I'll be there."
"What is it?" Michaelle look at him worriedly.
Rein did not answer back. Instead he gets Chaelle's underwear which he puts on his chair earlier and then slip it back to her.
"I need to see a patient. I might perform an operation, so I'll be coming home late." He fixes himself before he moves closer to Michaelle.
"I can't get enough of you." He gives her a quick kiss before he fixed her blouse and her hair.
"We could resume it later at your place." Chaelle give him a reassuring smile.
Rein weakly smiled at her.
"I will take in charge because I know you will be exhausted from the operation." She pulled him closer and give him a tight hug.
"If you insist." He smirked and kiss her on her temple.
"Get ready because I will not let you rest for the entire night." She chuckled.
"I'll be looking forward to it."
Then they both laugh before they went outside of his office.
