"War? Why?" said Li Yang.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" said Jake.
"It's because Morello refused to give Hardin any food from the hotel stores," Irina said. "Listen, could we discuss this sitting down? I didn't get any sleep last night, and neither did Olga. We're exhausted."
Li Yang and Jake let the girls inside the cabin, and immediately complications ensued: there were only two chairs. Eventually they all sat down on the two beds: Irina and Olga on Li Yang's, while Li Yang and Jake sat down on Jake's.
They faced each other across the floor in hostile silence. Finally Jake said:
"So are you going to tell us about this war, or what?"
"I told you already," Irina said. "Hardin wanted Terry to donate some food to the town. Morello refused, so Hardin declared war on him."
