Chapter 126 - Mistakes 2 (3)

The young woman arose. It was a bright and sunny day as evidenced by the bright yellow light shining through the translucent curtains. The room was dim and quiet, but cold and merely lifeless. Even with the little to no distractions, she couldn't help but feel this weird feeling of longing for that person's touch.

She realized her wayward attitude and slapped herself on her meaty yet slim cheeks. She felt the horrible wave of disgust crawling through her skin when she had comprehended her imperceivable lewd fantasies of her boss.

That said, she continued to think about his body. He had it—the most perfect body she'd seen, perhaps, the only bare body she'd seen for the first time in her life. The room was dim at the time, so she couldn't see anything else, however, she remembered the feeling of intense pleasure as it reached deeper.

"Ms. Mendoza."

She gasped, remembering where he traced his lips around her body. It was barely holding in his equipment, but somehow, she managed. He was definitely calling out her name—so sweet, erotic and filled with. . . with what exactly?

"Ms. Mendoza."

She gasped one more time. She wanted to stop the fantasies—even she could hear him saying her name.

"Ms. Mendoza, what are you doing?" A gentle gust of air blew to Sharmaine's ears. Startled, she looked up and jerked away the voice. She gasped in surprise, feeling her hot blood rise up to her cheeks. She covered her hand in embarrassment when she saw the handsome face of Denzel.

He smirked. He knew what she might be thinking—well, he thought he knew. "Ms. Mendoza, do you have a fever? Do you want to leave early?"

Sharmaine slowly breathed in and out. She had trouble calming her racing heart. "N-No, Mr. Suarez," she brought down her hands and continued to speak, not looking at his eyes, 'W-What brings you here?"

"Why? Can a CEO not be in his office?"

Sharmaine's heart started racing again. "N-N-No! That's not what I mean."

Denzel laughed. "Just kidding. I just wanted you to know to schedule an appointment at Silverfox Boutique. The sooner the better."

"May I ask why?"

"We have to attend Mr. Diz's annual party, remember? I do not know anyone else to accompany me but you."

Sharmaine felt her heartbeats getting louder. "W-Wait, what? S-Sir, I was only joking. Besides, I believe you have Ms. Park with you."

He groaned. "That woman? I would rather not, plus, she's away on a business trip, so she would not come. Nevertheless, do set aside a date before the 30th."

He then left the office and proceeded downstairs. Sharmaine felt her heart throb, though she did not know why. "Ms. Park. . . why does he know?"
