Chereads / Gallifrey Stands Again / Chapter 2 - Offer

Chapter 2 - Offer

"Where am I?"

[You're in the white zone, a place universal, which sits between the creations of the omniverse.] Spoke a voice.

"So you're like an Eternal"

[Maybe]

"Why am I here?"

[To offer your people, a second chance in a new universe. I'll give you everything you need to bring Galifrey back, of course at a price. A System if you like? So you and your people can begin again with the best of both your past and future accomplishments at the touch of your fingertips.]

Pausing in thought...

"So the Galifrey of my universe, didn't make it?"

[On the contrary, it takes more than the Daleks to defeat the Children of Time. Your race was saved by one of your own, a rogue TimeLord, known across multiverses as the Doctor.]

"Why not him in my place?"

The entity smilies [You have a greater destiny as the ____________ of your race here. But beware young TimeLord. This universe is much more dangerous than your last. Untamed, it is one of Villains and Heroes. You must choose a side for your people, or face the consequences of sitting idle for that I give you my last gift.]

This presence I feel surrounding me is one I know. That all TimeLord know. Their one and true companion that every TimeLord needs to travels through Space & Time. A TARDIS...

"It's quite an old modal isn't it but it can do. When & where will you be sending me?"

[The Beginning]

"Isn't that a little too soon..."

[The Tardis will help you see what needs to be seen]

"What is all this for?"

[To protect what needs to be protected. Chronos, I'll be watching your achievements]

Sighing...

"Thank you! Whoever you are. I'm in your debt"

[???]

We watch the big blue box slowly disappears into the mysteries universe.

I felt the Tardis crashing into something as I tried to enter hyperspace. Fiddling with the panels of instruments, he adjusts the thrusters of his new ship within the console.

"That's strange"

He looks at the Tardis's monitors, finding the known tachyon readings were off the charts.

"It's as if space itself is moving in form. I need to get a better look at this"

Switching a dial, the Tardis was brought to the edge of the growing mass of energy he was travelling through. Riding it like a wave, he adjusted the thrusters. Breaking through its void into an unknown space. Sparks fly off the cloister core as Chronos hangs on tight.

"Wherever I am? This is one heck of a ride??"

Letting the Tardis adjusts itself by pulling the navigation pedal forward. I'm able to get my ship stabilised again.

"Let's see where I am?"

A snap of my fingers and the Tardis doors swing open into the unknown...

"Blimey, that's a big face?"
