Chapter 5 - The discovery of spiritual water

As Zhu Yu began to clean the wounds and cuts on his arm thoroughly, a strange thing occurred.

As soon as he wiped the cloth over a gash on his body, a golden shimmer began emanating from that wound until it completely disappeared. At first, Zhu Yu was dumbfounded. He had eventually figured out that it was the water's doing. But the more he thought about it, the more typical it seemed to him.

Escaping the headquarters of a shady organization, finding a jewel that sent him into a secluded dimension...and water capable of healing wounds in little to no time.

Furthermore, all of that happened in just a couple of hours. The longer he lingered around, the more he felt that he'd truly been 'ignorant'. No wonder he couldn't find any bandages.

He suddenly regretted tearing that garment into bits and pieces.

Maybe my bad temper got the best of me?

Aiya, maybe I should work on that...

Zhu Yu took care of his most severe injuries before grabbing a towel and garment from the closet. Subsequently, he left the manor and headed to the river. As soon as he arrived, he plunged into the mildly cold water and let it work it's magic.

Before long, the man whose skin was covered in scars and cuts of all sizes was pleased to discover that it had now returned to its former state. Not a single scratch was left on his body as he came back out.

Truly too convenient!

He dapped his body dry and put on a new set of clothes; a black inner robe, and a white outer robe. The hems of his outer robe were black, and the entirety of his robe was embellished with embroidery and gradient designs. Moreover, the material was extremely fine and soft to the touch.

In spite of that, he felt slightly uncomfortable.

He was completely unaccustomed to wearing these types of garments.

The realization of him having to live in a different world finally began to sink in. Zhu Yu was curious, but also extremely nervous. The customs of that world were hopefully not too different from what he's used to.

As the thought of him leaving his spiritual fissure crossed his mind, another question arose.

"System, will I return to the Lone Star headquarters if I leave this place?"

He didn't want to return to the place he just-so managed to escape from. Thankfully, System's response shattered his doubts.

[Host has entered his newly-contracted fissure for the first time, thus Host's location upon leaving will be completely random.]

Zhu Yu hummed in response.

"Then, how do I leave?"

[All acts begin with an intention.]

"Well, I do want to lea-"

Before he could finish speaking, Zhu Yu's figure turned into a streak of light and completely disappeared from sight.
