As Persephone finished criticizing Zhu Jianyu time began to move once again. Jeff lunged at Zhu Jianyu. At least he had time to prepare for this attack. The giant sword barely missed him as he dodged out the way. Jeffrey immediately was surprised by the woman he failed to notice.
"I won't fall for that disguise!" Jeff yelled as he now charged at Persephone.
"Watch out!" Zhu Jianyu yelled as he realized that she wouldn't dodge out the way and would probably obliterate Jeff without hesitation.
He jumped in front of Persephone and yelled at the top of his lungs,
"POWWWWER SPLIT"
His hands glew as he blocked the attack, protecting Persephone. As the sword made with contact with Zhu Jianyu's hands, the sword sliced in half. This completely through off Jeff. In the moment he was vulnerable Zhu Jianyu saw his chance, he charged forward with his strongest punch to Jeffrey's gut. With all his might he smashed through Jeffreys armour and punched him directly in the stomach.
Jeffrey collapsed to his knees and smashed down onto the ground of the forest.
"I guess I should alter my appearance so that I don't look like an angel huh?" she said as a heavenly glow enveloped her. As the light faded away, it showed a very generic looking girl. Her white hair now was blond, freckles covered her face, and she now was shorter than before.
Zhu Jianyu was more shocked at how easily he handled Jeffrey. He figured it would be a genuine problem taking him down or even just escaping from him. He figured he'd brag to PVL.
"Look at that PVL! I aced that!" Zhu Jianyu thought.
Persephone then preceded to whack him across the back of the head.
"It's Persephone. P E R S E P H O N E. It's not that hard."
That's when it clicked for Persephone was the voice who had guided him for the whole day.
"Anyways, I will tell you of your greater mission. You've been reborn for a reason. God made a system two years ago, when he first brought someone to this world. Unfortunately there were....flaws to say the least." Persephone told him.
Zhu Jianyu was confused. Was there other people like him in this world." How many more are there?" he asked her.
"In total, there are 3 people with systems in this world, the 3 that were reborn here. You, The current Demon Lord, and one other." Persephone than sighed. "The original system that they both of them got...there was an issue with them. A rouge line of code somehow got into the code for the system. It has slowly started to corrupt the two others and taking control of there bodies. As you can probably guess, the person who was reborn here first and became Demon lord, was fully corrupted."
Zhu Jianyu was baffled by this huge drop off information. 'To think, with the power of my system. I could become demon lord? But won't I slowly get corrupted too?' He went to open his mouth and ask but was cut off by Persephone.
"No you can't become the Demon Lord."
At this point Zhu Jianyu was sure that she could read his mind. So he decided to test it. He thought many things to see how she would react.
Suddenly she started blushing. "How vulgar!"
Persephone said. "I'm a part of your system of course I can read your mind."
Zhu Jianyu was immediately embarrassed he was joking about the fact that his mind could be read. He turned away in embarrassment. "This world is so weird..."
"Anyways... Your job is to find the two other system users and destroy their cancelled systems." Persephone breaking the silence.
Zhu Jianyu and Persephone came back to the rest of the group. Jeff was over her shoulders and still unconscious. Everyone but Klaus looked shocked to see Jeff defeated.
"Holy..... This is the first time Jeffrey has lost to anyone! Shiro you must be seriously strong!" Lissa said.
She threw off her shoulders and onto the hard ground. The loud clang of his armour hitting the ground echoed through the forest. Klaus walked forward and reached out his hand to Zhu Jianyu.
"Finally, after we lost Micheal P., I thought the Survival Sect was cursed to never find another strong member." Klaus said as he shook Zhu Jianyus hand strongly. "So who's this?" he said pointing to Persephone.
Of course he thought of a plan just in case they asked this. 'I'll just tell them that she's a summon or a-'
"I'm Shiro's travelling companion, Persephone, I was looking for berries when you guys had meet him." Persephone said, and without skipping a beat pulled out a basket of berries from behind her back.
'That was probably half as good as my plan, but I guess it'll have to work..' Zhu Jianyu tried to convince himself.
"Well... you passed the test... and I guess we can use Persephone's help...so I guess it's official.. WELCOME TO THE SURVIVAL SECT!" Lissa yelled with much energy.
Jeff, who had since gotten back on his feet started clapping. Klaus, Issa, Kimikori, and Lissa joined and cheered for the two new members.
Persephone then looked at Zhu Jianyu and smiled. Zhu Jianyu knew what she meant by this.
She leaned in close and whispered to him "You better not fail god again."
