After I confirm her evolution, Kess gets wrapped in a torrent of spinning metallic webs. Just like Set, Kess gets a myriad of options. Some of the options for making her a tank look tempting. However aspects are more important..... What's this?
-Imbues the aspect of Gluttony into Kess
uhhhh? Nope. Definitely not. Deadly Sins are a no go. I can see a lot of problems with any of them but, gluttony could very well be the most destructive in nature. Especially in a world of monsters and, quite possibly giant ones.
Looking over the other aspects, I am met with another eye-catcher.
-Imbues the aspect of Ancients into Kess
What does that even mean? Old power?.... I really doubt that.... If it was just the aspect of old that may have been a red flag but, ancient is something different. It usually refers to the things that are from an age long past, so long past that complete understanding of that time is impossible. Some may scoff at others being awestruck by the the past. However, do you truly 'know' the past?
This aspect may not be based on anything in particular from the past. It could very well be an aspect that represents the unknown of it all..... Well, it could turn out to be old power. Lets see.....
After confirming the torrent of web expands and shrinks repeatedly. I feel a deep shaking, but nothing else has moved. Searching my surroundings I see Set. She looks really excited as she stares at the torrent. I look back to the torrent to see.... No, I see no real difference. The difference is in feeling. The feeling of personally seeing an ancient monument of great proportions.
------
Eventually the torrent breaks up and threads its way into the nest mixing that.... Aura, into the nest. Focusing back on Set, it doesn't seem like she is different. I know that is completely wrong though. She seems more dignified and..... Great? She is standing on her own legs now as well... I hope that this aura is not brainwashing me. I don't like having things mess with my mind.
The steel mind perk is an exception. It has basically kept my mind in a good state, free from falling into crippling panic and madness... Why isn't it nullifying the aura?Perhaps it actually benefits me? Enough of this though. Back to Kess.

Her health and resource have both increased by a moderate amount.....She should be able to speak as well.
"Kess." Gin
"Hmmm.... So I can speak to Gin now, huh." Kess
Unlike Set, who can only talk through telepathy, Kess can actually speak. Xelu can as well but, her speech is pretty bad. Set is staring even more intensely at Kess. She must want to be able to talk normally.
"So, is it fine to call you Gin or should I call you Mr. Cinders or something." Kess
"Gin is fine, quite different choices from what Set wanted to call me." Gin
"Well, she is a weird one but, I understand why she is so obessed with..... " Kess
'Sister doesn't know what's what master! I guarantee that I'm normal!' Set
I couldn't hear the end of Kess' words as Set suddenly jumps in. Kess' voice is soothing in a way. She is pretty casual unlike Set who treats me as some sort of super being. She seems to be the most normal of the three. Wait, what is normal?
Kess is looking at me and seems to be waiting for me as Set is smacks her legs.
"....You can visit the larders." Gin
"You said earlier that as long as I could walk I could devour as much as I want right?" Kess
"...."Gin
"So the reward from helping earlier should be postponed until I can't walk anymore." Kess
Shit. I forgot about that. She is going to eat the larders clean. Here I was thinking that maybe she changed after her evolution. It's a good thing none of us need to eat, otherwise we would probably starve with her around.
Kess goes prancing off to the larders. What happened to that dignified figure?.... She will probably be in the larders for quite awhile. I forgot to ask her about her new abilities. I'll do that later I guess.
'Master can I rebind?' Set
Set looks up to me. Why does she like binding to me so much?
"Sure?" Gin
'Thanks master' Set

Sitting in the main room I start contemplating our next plan of action. Now that Kess is evolved, getting the others to level 15 will take a long while. It may be better to focus on something else. I could start grinding skills out. My skills did get a good boost from the gnome dungeon so I could just grind there. Specifically these 3.
*Poison Pool T1 lv7(up 3)
*Poison Lance T1 lv5(up 1)
*Stealth T1 lv8 (up 2)
These are my core skills that I use the most. Poison controll is the new skill that I got from ranking up.I haven't tried it but, I have a feeling it will join these 3.... If it lets me control poison inside enemies that would be insane.
----
I go through the nest until I find a poison pool. There are quite a few of these scatted throughout the nest as environmental hazards towards enemies. I try using poison control and I'm immediately suprised. I can control it by moving my hands allowing me do whatever I like with it..... I don't need to use my hands as I try kicking and a portion of it blasts out. I can also passively create poison from my limbs as well. This is cool!
I check my resource and cancel poison control.... I'm almost out of mana. I doubt I even used it for 3 minutes. So I guess this is to be more of a trump card.
--------
Today has been very interesting. It tired me out considerably though. Me, Set, and Xelu are going to rest for tonight. I think Kess is still in the larder. It must be getting close to empty at this point. At first when I saw all the corpses in there I thought it would all just rot in there. However, after I saw the amount Kess ate in one night, I knew it wouldn't be enough for her.
-------
After awhile of staring at the roof Kess comes back in. She is much bigger than before the evolution. Don't tell me.... She finished off the larder..... I guess she used up her reward as well as she probably lost the ability to walk hours ago. She is about 80% larger than when I first summoned her.
.....
No more larder visits for you. I should make small packages for her to reward her from now on. She drags herself to lay next to me. She seems extremely satisfied. I hear her whisper.
"I love..... food" Kess
With that, she passes out. I should soon as well.
