"What happened?" Hongling was eager to hear some juicy gossip although she was truly concerned. She knew that not many things were able to affect Chu Wuyou's emotions.
"Not much, really. Someone set me up with a jerk that wanted to assault me. I've already sorted it out." Chu Wuyou revealed the truth as she pouted.
She always felt like a little child in front of Senior Hongling. She was grateful for the support both her seniors provided her all these years.
She had long treated them as her family thus she would not deliberately disguise her feelings in front of them, especially with Senior Hongling.
The two of them had a really close relationship.
"Who's bold enough to set their eyes on you?" Hongling's tone was laced with playfulness instead of worry. Was the person thinking of bullying Chu Wuyou asking for death?
