Chapter 31 - Send Him to the Hospital (1)

During lunchtime, Mu Zi sat quietly in a corner of the cafeteria near the window, eating his meal while occasionally gazing outside. The view outside the window was the school's parking lot, filled with various motorcycles, scooters, and cars. The fiery red Ferrari F430, parked at the edge, was particularly eye-catching.

The best way to deal with someone you dislike is to make them disappear from your sight, either temporarily or forever.

Fundamentally, Fu Yang made two fatal mistakes. First, he shouldn't have been rude to Ouyang Liuse. Second, he shouldn't have pointed his finger at Mu Zi's nose. Mu Zi subconsciously touched his nose, realizing how much he despised being pointed at.

He could easily sabotage the Ferrari to give Fu Yang a hard time. Mu Zi chewed on a piece of broccoli, pondering the numerous ways to tamper with the brakes without detection. However, that plan had to be abandoned due to the surveillance cameras overlooking the parking lot.

Unable to tamper with the car, the next option was to create an 'accident' when getting close to Fu Yang. But since they were not in the same class, this posed a challenge.

Such a nuisance, Mu Zi thought, with a wry smile in his heart.

While lost in thought, a stunning figure approached and sat down across from him. It was Ouyang Liuse, bringing a pleasant fragrance that lifted his spirits. Was this the legendary charm of a beautiful woman?

"How old are you?" Ouyang Liuse asked, smiling as she opened her lunch box.

A bit puzzled by the sudden question, Mu Zi replied, "Eighteen."

"Oh," Ouyang Liuse nodded, "I'm twenty. Just call me Ouyang, or Liuse. Please don't call me 'teacher,' it makes me feel old."

"Alright," Mu Zi responded with a smile, "But you are my teacher, aren't you?"

"We're just exchanging knowledge and learning together. I'm not an old schoolmaster, and you're not a little kid, right?" Ouyang Liuse replied, still smiling.

Her voice was melodious again, and her presence so close to him made his heart flutter. For a moment, Mu Zi felt like a small fish drawn irresistibly to a spring, unable to resist and plunging in. He found comfort and joy swimming in its clear waters.

"Mu Zi! Mu Zi?"

Startled, Mu Zi realized he had been daydreaming. Ouyang Liuse was waving her hand in front of his face, trying to snap him out of his reverie.

"Uh?" He quickly swallowed his food and straightened up to hide his embarrassment. "What?"

"What?" Ouyang Liuse, confused, said, "I didn't say anything. I just wondered why you suddenly spaced out."

"Just... you remind me of a friend I had," Mu Zi said, wiping his forehead secretly.

"Really? Why not just say I look like a girl from your class?" Ouyang Liuse joked, "Wouldn't that be more cliché?"

Sharp and witty... just my type, Mu Zi thought.

"Just kidding," Ouyang Liuse said more seriously, "Thanks for what you did this morning."

"It was nothing, really," Mu Zi replied calmly as he continued eating.

"But I'm curious, have you ever learned martial arts?" Ouyang Liuse suddenly asked.

"Martial arts? No," Mu Zi answered, "Why do you ask?"

"The way you dodged Fu Yang's punch this morning was so swift and skilled... as if you had training."

"I've never learned martial arts," Mu Zi shook his head, "but every punch has its signs, like changes in eye movement, foot posture, or waist movement. I just picked up on those and prepared in advance."

Ouyang Liuse listened in amazement, forgetting to eat. After a moment, she said, "Mu Zi, I find you quite mysterious."

Mysterious, Mu Zi thought with an inward smile.

"You like vegetarian food?" Mu Zi observed Ouyang Liuse's lunchbox filled with vibrant vegetables.

"Yes," she replied, playing with her spinach, "I enjoy colorful fruits and vegetables – they stimulate my appetite. You too?"

Their similar tastes in food made Mu Zi reflect again. Was it fate or coincidence?

Mu Zi's lunch box also contained colorful vegetables. He also preferred fruits and vegetables for their vibrant colors and the appetite they stimulated.

Lost in thought, he looked at his lunchbox – white rice with green vegetables and purple eggplant. He too preferred fruits and vegetables for their colors and taste.

Suddenly, commotion outside caught their attention.

Outside, the noise from the parking lot caught their attention. They saw a group of colorfully haired students on roller skates, zipping around the cars with Fu Yang showing off his skating skills, eliciting cheers from the onlookers.

Ouyang Liuse warned, "Those students are Fu Yang's followers. He's not someone to be trifled with. Be careful."

Mu Zi continued eating, watching Fu Yang's performance indifferently.

"Don't worry... Ouyang."

Seeing Ouyang Liuse eating quietly, Mu Zi smiled subtly, his mind set on protecting her from any further trouble.
